Restarting membership
I restarted my membership with PureGym but I was disappointed that the off peak membership was not offered on your website for this particular location unlike the first time I joined your gym. You should have more offers and deals for over 50s and pensioners.

The Robroyston PureGym Crowded times
The Robroyston PureGym have down stairs and up stair but laltely diwnstair been closed dont kniw why so only upstairs available which make it very very busy even to use a machine we need to wait for long

Like - 24 hours access, range of machines etc
Dislike- not enough cable multi cable machines, prices to access multiple gyms isn’t clear at first it was £25.99 but when I tried to access certain gyms it goes upto £33.99

Affordable but not well kept
Affordable but not well kept. Alarm door going on 24/7, electronic music playing super loud, you can’t listen to your own music with earphones without having to blast the sound up, which is unsafe. Some equipments make a creaking sound, probably because how old it is.

I Moved from TheGymGroup to PureGym as…
I Moved from TheGymGroup to PureGym as the quality and hygiene at TheGymGroup had dropped significantly. Joining Pure Gym was easy and simple, However i was at the gym around 10:30pm this evening and there was no toilet paper in both sides, people weren’t cleaning their machines after use because cleaning sprays were empty.
This was my second time at this gym, hopefully see it in better condition next time thanks.

Changes
I feel recently the gym has started to go down slightly. It appears that they are cost cutting. There are less stations for sanitising and the TVs are now on the same constant loop of drone videos, showing the same thing over and over.

The Music
I’m 21, and I go to this gym nearly every day, I have nothing bad to say about it other than the dreadful music they insist on blaring over the speakers. I don’t know if pure gym are contracted in some sense to play music, but without headphones (headphones, earphones are futile) it is impossible to ignore it. If the music could be tailored slightly to be less agonising, it would be nice. Also, I can guarantee that almost everyone will agree with this, even the staff to some degree. I am considering switching gyms.

Been to a few PureGyms around Glasgow…
Been to a few PureGyms around Glasgow but Robroystons puregym is definitely the best. Friendly staff, great clean equipment. Also been to a few classes and really enjoyed Jay's classes

Weights section is too small could be expanded, especially downstairs, wasted space in some parts. Peak times is a write off so best to avoid.

Old and done in
I use multiple PureGym locations due to travel for work and staying at my partners in the south side. Recently I have started using the newly opened Giffnock branch and the comparison is horrendous. Robroyston is in dire need of a refurb / upgrade. Not a single thing has changed or been upgraded since it opened years ago. It’s not big enough for the level of use - especially at peak time. It’s not up to date with the changes to the fitness industry and the type of equipment / attachments that are now available. It’s pretty shameful that there are members who will pay the same for this sub par gym compared to those that have cleaner, newer and better facilities. Absolutely dread when I have to use this location now.

Decent gym and good value for money
Decent gym, good range of equipment available if you avoid busy periods. The app tells you how busy it is. Good price, very affordable.
