basic, small & too busy
Pretty basic, small and mega busy all the time. Been a member for 3 years and only seen about 3 pieces of new kit in that time. No reinvestment into kit, poor use of space and no consideration for membership number. £28.99 a month is over priced for this gym

Great place for me …
I always find I can get on any equipment that I want to use. Staff are always on hand, helpful and friendly.
I do personal training also , and it's helped me physically and mentally able to do more than I ever could before. Great place for me .

It’s great. I’m shredded thanks to pure gym. I do need to get one thing off my chest though. It’s common sense to bang some Mitchum on before the gym and call it a day. Why do people have to make others suffer with their pits on a mad one. Pure gym, not sure how you’re gonna tackle this one, but it needs sorting. Marketing, posters, or something. Help a girlie out

Great equipment and staff, but….
Can’t say a bad word about the equipment or staff. In peak times it’s so busy as it’s a small gym. There’s an empty building next to the gym its self. Any plans on pure gym obtaining this ? Would cut down on the waiting you have to do to get on equipment etc

Decent gym
Decent gym. Enough equipment but I didn’t go in peak time. Everything is clean and new and there’s not loads of parking but there’s a massive Tesco across the road and it’s a few extra steps. Didn’t feel like there was any air con on though was warm but quite happy with it

Clean friendly waiting for equipment is…
Clean friendly waiting for equipment is not bad except for bikes they simply don’t have enough. Some equipment moved upstairs which is a bit isolated. Shower and toilet too small don’t use them. On balance it’s good value for money if you just want cardio and weights

I have recently joined Pure Gym & have been impressed with the spacious gym environment & with the wide cross section of machines available.
I am availing myself of personal training sessions currently - with Olly, who has proved to be excellent - highly professional, appropriate, supportive & encouraging, in addition to presenting me with carefully graduated challenges.

Turned up for first time at puregym in…
Turned up for first time at puregym in glossop and sign said "maximum parking 10 minutes between 2001hrs and 0759. What a waste of time for a 24hr gym. Gym not entered and PureGym membership cancelled.

Love PureGym, hate my local PureGym
I love PureGym and I’ve used it in and off for years. Now we finally have one in Glossop i rejoined. Unfortunately it’s just too small for the number of people who now attend. It’s by far the cheapest and best gym in glossop but it’s too overcrowded now which impacts any best laid plans

Getting better but not great yet
Getting better, gym is abit too warm even in winter, nice staff and trainers, some equipment is still sub par in quality and the services still dont justify the price we pay as customers. The gym is clean but abit cramped. Would love new types of machines like a shoulder extention machine for example.
