Easy, clear and straightforward. Getting details about the gym was good especially the photos which displayed the equipment before committing.
Signing up was a breeze with payment and options.
Only disappointment was the app would not download onto my phone, said my phone was unsuitable for the app. This means I don't get the QR code to gain entry to the gym but the pin number will do this so no great problem.

It is supported on IOS version 14.2 and above, and on Android 7.0 and above. We only support Android phones & tablets and iPhones & iPads. We do constantly review new platforms but at this time we do not currently support other devices. Great experience
At the time of my visit (Saturday Afternoon) I managed to get on all the equipment I needed to no problem (considering the size of the gym) gym equipment and facilities where at a great standard too, no complaints from me

Insufficient trainers to cover classes
Having been a member of the Grantham gym for a couple of years it is increasingly noticeable that this gym has difficulties retaining staff. Since Christmas there is insufficient cover for the 6.15am class on Fridays. A couple of classes were moved to 7.15am which is too late for most of us attending the early classes, one was cancelled, but today it was scheduled go ahead but no trainer turned up. Very frustrating for those of us who made the effort to be there and ended up doing our own thing instead.

Downside is the toilets
Love this gym, only downside is the toilets. No hand towels ever available,which would help for people who done like to use electric hand dryer, and an awful smell coming from the sewers it smells like! Has been there for weeks and nothing has been done about it

Great place for fitness
I always attend classes and their PTs are , very friendly and dedicated .
I really do enjoy the classes i attend however , Luke Dunning and Donald Sweeting have been doing an outstanding job for me.

We do our very best to provide a wide range of classes, so that members have a variety of ways to workout and also do so, in a short amount of time, as we understand some members are crunched for time or just prefer shorter (but effective) workouts.

Not for you, if you value cleanliness
Let’s get the good part out of the way. The actual gym and its equipment are fine. If you don’t use the changing rooms, then this is the gym for you. However…
It’s a large gym. It has hundreds of lockers, everywhere. Unfortunately they’re all far too small, and have never been cleaned, so your clothes will pick up filth from the bottom of them.
There are three showers.
When one broke recently, it took almost two weeks to repair. The showers are filthy, you are literally walking on other people’s…….hair.
There is one small bench to sit on when changing, no room for any more due to the insane tiny wall to wall lockers. The floor is covered in litter and debris although to be fair it’s different litter every day, so someone is doing some cleaning.
If price is all you care about it’s ok. Personally I have just joined another gym for £2 a week more as I don’t like having a shower while standing on a mat of other people’s pubic hair. At least you won’t slip on the floor….

I love PureGym!
I love PureGym!! The Grantham branch is brilliant. Great choice of equipment, and knowledgeable and friendly staff on hand to assist. Management are very responsive to feedback and take pride in the gym. I’ve recommended it to others. The only thing that would make it better would be a Boditrax.

A kind welcome
A kind welcome, staff who listen, reasonable prices. I am a 76 yr old woman, have a history of hating PE and yet realise I now need to be more pro-active if I want to stay healthy and strong for as long as I can. OK everyone was younger than I when I called in to the gym but that’s not the point. A personal trainer who will encourage me, yet require me to challenge myself is what I need. I am so looking forward to working with Phoebe. Thank you, the kind folks at Grantham.
