Good gym but starting to max out the…
Good gym but starting to max out the bumbells as they only go to 40kg.
Also the cleaning needs to improve as the showers are full of hair which cam persist for days.

Puregym Hitchin-Was asked very rudely…
Puregym Hitchin-Was asked very rudely if I had finished with a machine by a PT when I said yes I was then told to put the weights away which was on a bar. Step up box, resistance bands and neck protector left scattered on the floor by other gym users causing trip hazards and no mention to them. Get what you pay for. Cheap gym,cheap attitude

It is in the gym rules that members should return their own weights or risk suspension, but at peak times especially it can be hard to police this. However, staff on site do everything they can while we also have CCTV monitoring the free weights and are looking for new ways to combat this.

Recently joined
Recently joined. I am active anyway but it's been a while since I've been to a traditional Gym. I've enjoyed the three times I've been so far. This gym has a good range of machines, weight lifting facilities and space for floorwork. It's not the biggest gym in the world so I try to avoid peak times. There are limited changing and shower facilities which I haven't used. You will need a padlock to use the small number of lockers. I think it's good value.

Brilliant service and lovely staff who…
Brilliant service and lovely staff who are extremely helpful. I just wish that my gym had the water for plus members. Also there is the tiniest water fountain that can barely fill up a bottle because of the angle you have to put it.

The Yanga Water is something that we are looking to roll out in all of our gyms over time. So we can only advise looking our for any updates on this been added.

Who knew I'd enjoy it
Having never been to a gym I all my 50 something years, I was a little daunted by the prospect of joining one. From the online joining process to the first visit to see what I was letting myself in for, it could not have been better. All the staff are so friendly, helpful, very approachable and happy to answer any queries. The gym itself is very clean, with stations stocked with paper towels and spray and there is plenty of equipment for everyone even during covid spacing restrictions. I can't stay away now. Who knew!
