Very good all around.
Very good all around. Enquired in person at Leamington Spa PureGym and was shown around on a private tour by club manager Alex.
Everything looked great. Special cleaning stations installed for Covid-19.
As for the Gym, there is so much equipment. Most users seem focused on training and very considerate of general gym etiquette. Refreshing environment vs my previous use of “health club” style gyms. Only disappointed I haven’t switched sooner.

The best gym that I have been to in…
The best gym that I have been to in Leamington Spa, the others in town are just too small. Still, since it's outside town it could be a bit bigger with a few more machines. Parking space is good and it's a short drive from the town centre. A 4 stars for me.

Please be aware due to the situation of our gyms it isn't always possible to extend the site itself, however, we are always looking to expand and improve our facilities where possible, so please keep an eye out for updates. PT's who have no knowledge or don't care
There are some young PT's there who are training clients half-arsed, messing around on their phones and not keeping track of what sets or reps the clients on. Worst of all is teaching really back form i.e. Barbell Row with a massively rounded back and instead of correcting the PT just increased the weights. Total lack of care that makes me feel bad for people paying money to be taught the wrong information which will ultimately do the client damage in the long term.

Far too many people in the gym and not enough equipment. Constantly hanging/loitering around waiting for stuff to free up.

Good gym on the whole
Good gym on the whole. Very cramped at peak times but in the early morning and later at night this is not an issue. A punch bag would be great addition

We always aim to provide a broad spread of kit to cater to a range of fitness needs and meet demand as it changes through the day, getting the balance right between weights and cardio, but if you have any other/specific suggestions please approach the Gym Manager or leave a note in the feedback box, which is regularly reviewed.

Cleanliness is very good and staff very…
Cleanliness is very good and staff very helpful. With restrictions lifted, taking down the dividers between the running machines etc would be useful as they create a claustrophobic feel.

I have not used my PureGym membership…
I have not used my PureGym membership since 2019/2020 but they continue to try and take direct debit payments from you even after freezing them eventually I had to cancel my direct debits as they would not refund me my payments and had increased them

Members can only freeze for a maximum of up to 3 months. If a membership has been cancelled successfully then no further payments would be taken. If a valid direct debit agreement remains in place and there is no freeze on the account then we are authorised by the bank to take payment, which as per the terms and conditions, is no refundable.

Staff do undertake regular cleaning checks and we have dedicated cleaning teams come each night to carry out and comply with internal and external audits. But we can of course check the cleaning rotas so if you let the Gym Manager know when you’ve visited they can properly investigate.
