Unsafe and Poorly Managed Gym
I attend this gym regularly, I appreciate that a female only section is provided. However the lack of organization and cleanliness is a constant issue. Barbells and dumbbells are frequently left on the floor, creating clear trip and safety hazards.
The CrossFit track is not accessible at all because it’s filled with equipment left behind by other members. On top of this, empty bottles and other rubbish are regularly left on the floor.
In a gym environment, safety and basic tidiness should be a priority, but that is not the case here. Better management, clearer rules, and staff enforcement are needed to prevent accidents and improve the experience.
I wished I could have posted photos or videos of the mess around there.

However we know that at busier times, weights are not always returned and our team complete regular re-sets of the gym. We understand that this is sometimes frustrating for our members, and it is included within our Gym Rules that members should return weights after use. Anybody witnessed leaving equipment out of place will be spoken to by our Gym Team. If you have any specific concerns relating to this matter, please speak with a member of the gym team where they will be able to assist further. We would like to assure you that we are reviewing feedback regarding the cleanliness of your gym and will ensure this is addressed in club. The most persistent issue is the unreliable lifts, which frequently prevent access to the gym, especially from the car park. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay for a membership and be unable to use the facilities due to this recurring problem. There is a lack of communication about these outages, leaving members stranded without notice or alternative access options.
In addition to the accessibility problems, the cleanliness of the gym has been declining. It’s becoming more frequent to find equipment and areas not properly cleaned.
I hope management takes these issues seriously and implements lasting solutions to improve both accessibility and cleanliness for its members.

The lift is not under PureGym jurisdiction, we can confirm that the landlord and management of the car park are aware of this issue, and working on a resolution. Whilst the lift is currently out of action, access to street level is available via the stairs in the carpark. The gym and cleaning team have been working to maintain cleanliness standards in gym. It may be that standards have been able to slip during unstaffed hours or peak access hours. It would help us if you could get in touch directly with Member Services to provide more information regarding your concerns (such as date and time etc.) so that this can be looked into further. Decent gym, bad classes
The gym was fine, but classes were constantly cancelled with no notice, sometimes the instructor didn't even turn up.

I’d like to give a special mention to my personal trainer, Todor Ouzonov, who has been truly exceptional. As someone managing a long-term injury, I really appreciate Todor’s professionalism, care, and empathy. He has an amazing ability to understand my needs while still pushing me to achieve my full potential.
Todor goes above and beyond in every session — not just coaching, but genuinely looking after your wellbeing. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough as a coach at PureGym, St. George’s Way.

Very Disappointing Experience
Very disappointing Experience. I tried this gym because it's nearby to my house. I went for the first time and put my bag in the locker room and used my own padlock. after gym i went home.
The day after i went for groceries and pick my wallet and i just noticed my cash was missing and my Debit card was missing too. I went again that night and i check the locker. It turns out that even when you lock it with the padlock you can literally still open it. I went to 3 different gyms already. And this is my first time that this happened to me.

Our gyms are indeed very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website to see how many people are in the gym.
