Great facilities, but hygiene standards need attention
Overall, I am satisfied with the Edge Lane (Liverpool) gym. It is spacious, and the equipment is consistently well-maintained.
However, the state of the toilets is disappointing. Given that this location has a significantly higher footfall than other gyms, it should be cleaned more frequently, but that hasn't been the case. Essential items like toilet paper and hand soap are frequently missing. I hope management can address this to match the quality of the rest of the facility.

Hi Anna- Thanks for taking the time to leave this review, we always appreciate and take on board member feedback. It is in the gym rules that members should return their own weights or risk suspension, but at peak times especially it can be hard to police this. However, staff on site do everything they can while we also have CCTV monitoring the free weights area and are looking for new ways to combat this.
We also always aim to provide a broad spread of kit to cater to a range of fitness needs and meet demand as it changes through the day, getting the balance right between weights and cardio. If you have any other/specific suggestions, please approach the Gym Manager who will be happy to discuss this even further and pass these suggestions on! Thanks, PureGym

Really like PureGym
Really like PureGym, I go the Edge Lane gym I’ve been going for two weeks now and I feel really comfortable there.
The staff are great, Dean is so helpful and kind. If every gym had a Dean I just know everybody who stepped foot in a gym would have a great experience.
Equipment is great, there is plenty of space for everyone.
I’m really happy at PureGym, I’d recommend it to everyone from beginner to the experienced as the staff are all really friendly and helpful

Overall great experience, need more effort on cleanliness
Great number of equipment available and well maintained. Just need to have disinfectant wipes / sprays rather than an old dirty cloth to clean with. Overall a great experience.

I’m really satisfied with this gym! It’s spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The trainers are friendly and always available to help with any needs. For me, it’s simply the best gym!

I did go and visit the gym to make sure it had what I wanted and was shown round by a lovely young man. Signing up online was so simple and I have already booked classes which again was so easy!!

You pick a flavour and the disappointment when you taste it and it’s just plain water, if it’s not being replenished please state this or let us know what flavours are working some flavours are not available for weeks so it’s a gamble what your picking !!!!!
