Great Classes and Friendly staff
I recently decided to join a gym after not working out for many years, so I was looking for something beginner-friendly with instructor-led classes. I found that PureGym was affordable and offered a good variety of classes. I looked at several locations, including Limehouse, Bank, and Waterloo, but the PureGym Borough location seemed to have the biggest range of classes.
I signed up there and I’m really glad I did. The classes are great and I enjoy being able to try different types of workouts. Because of my job, I never know in advance when my days off will be, so the wide schedule of classes is perfect for me. I can easily change the day and still find something interesting to attend.
The staff are also fantastic. They are very friendly, energetic, and encouraging, which really motivates me to push myself, even though I hadn’t worked out in a long time. Overall, it has been a really positive experience and I’m very happy I chose this gym.

London Monument
Pandora at London Monument was the best host. She took me on a tour and showed me how to use one of the machines I was interested in. I joined a few days later and attending. She helped me obtain a lock for the lockers and set it up for me. She made a lasting impression and one of the reasons I joined. The gym itself is large, clean and offers all the equipment I need. The guys working the front desk area were really helpful. The gym has loads of space and a lot of great workout machines. The weight stack goes up high and low. Its all there. Great spot.

I stayed in London for 8 days and…
I stayed in London for 8 days and signed up for day pass at London borough gym. The staff there are friendly and helpful with my registration hiccup. The gym is also well equipped and very clean. Recommended gym if u are in town

Good gym
I like this gym as it’s my local. Can we get a booty builder machine in as I don’t think theres enough Glute focus machines. The gym elephant castle has this and its amazing. I like the staff thats currently in the gym. All of the current staff are great

Stuff members at borough pure gym are the best. Gym is always tidy and weights are always in place, unlike in other puregym’s i went before.

Female Toilets and Showers dirty
The female showers and toilets on weekends are dirty. The walls and the floors of the newly decorated showers have hairs on it and the toilets are not cleaned all day.
This is extremely poor hygiene standards coming from a gym which charges people nearly £50 a month! Even Southwark gyms have better cleaning standards! Puregym needs to improve their hygiene levels.

Great gym, nice big space, great free weights area and also plenty of machines (resistance and cardio).
