Temperatures and air conditioning in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. Thanks, PureGym.

-Staff is friendly & helpful
-Good to see new equipment
-Feels safe (female gym member)
-Some members do not remove the weights they’ve used after training, makes it harder for me as a woman to remove heavier weights from machines(constant problem happens often) staff do come around and reset weights.

Worst showers ever !
Showers are terrible . Water set at below body temperature barely warm! Blocked shower jets and drainage! Shower goes cold when adjacent shower is in use ! Customer service not interested in doing anything and no intention of doing any repairs ! This ruins my gym experience!

It took forever for my daughter to log…
It took forever for my daughter to log in and get a passcode for myself as her guest. Quite a few pieces of equipment we couldn’t use because it wouldn’t turn on.

Once added as a Free Friend you should receive an email with your own unique PureGym pin.
This can be entered after the main account holder enters the gym. Any issues recovering your PureGym pin or entering the club please press the assist button on entry.
Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken.
We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible.
If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. Thanks, PureGym
I've been a regular to this gym for…
I've been a regular to this gym for almost 4 years now, despite some of it's shortcomings. I've stayed a member. However the recent closure for maintenance work with its horrible communication to advise members of whether it's even open has now left me to consider other options now. The marketing emails continue however, so it beggars belief that they can't even update paying members who often have limited times to visit, truely shocking.

Confirmation of the closure was first sent across on 28/06, with a further update on 03/07 extending the access in place from all London clubs, to all PureGyms.
This gym has now re-opened! Certain areas of the gym are temporarily closed off while work continues, but alternative access still remains in place.

Bromley gym closed, but gym fees are still taken
Bromley gym has been closed for days, without any arrangement. but you still take gym fees from my bank account today. What do I paid for?
No one knows when the gym will reopen. Can anyone give me some explanation ?

This occurred on 28/06 due to unforeseen circumstances, and in the meantime access was added to all London gyms. This was then updated on 03/07 giving access to all PureGyms.
The gym has now re-opened! Certain parts of the club are temporarily closed off with ongoing work, but access will remain in place to use other clubs during this time.

Unacceptable Closure, Poor Communication, and Lack of Compensation
extremely frustrated and disappointed with PureGym due to the ongoing closure of the Bromley gym. It has now been nearly two weeks with absolutely zero communication from the gym regarding its status or expected reopening date. Members are left in the dark, having to visit the gym daily only to find it still closed. How hard is it to send an update? They seem to have no trouble sending marketing emails!
The so-called solution offered by PureGym is to use alternative gyms across the city. However, the nearest alternative gym, located in Catford and Orpington, is at more than one-hour round trip and in a deplorable state. The Catford gym is filthy, with poor ventilation, overcrowded spaces, and equipment covered in thick layers of dust. It is clear that this gym is far below acceptable standards and not a viable alternative.
When I reached out for answers, the response I received was vague and dismissive, failing to provide any real solutions or timelines. The lack of specific information about the reopening of the Bromley gym and the casual tone of their response show a blatant disregard for the inconvenience caused to their members.
Adding insult to injury, PureGym continues to charge members full fees despite the closure, with no offer of compensation whatsoever. This audacity to still charge members without providing the promised services is unacceptable. I explicitly requested a waiver of this month's fees and an additional free month as compensation, but this request was completely ignored.
PureGym's handling of this situation is completely unacceptable. Their lack of communication, poor customer service, and failure to provide adequate alternatives or compensation shows how they treat their members. I'm now questioning the value of maintaining my membership with PureGym.

The gym has now been closed for Five…
The gym has now been closed for Five days have been told that I can use another gym, but there isn’t any local to Bromley so if you don’t drive, you’ve got no hope. It would’ve been better for them to say that you can freeze your gym membership. For the foreseeable future until Bromley gym opens back up so I’ve been paying £8 a day at the moment because they haven’t told me how long it’s going to be closed for to go to a gym round the corner

Always busy a hour session turns into 2-3hours to many 15 year olds using there parents membership standing around machines and not using them.

We’re afraid it's true, our gyms simply are very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day.
Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website, to see how many people are in the gym.
All members need to be 16 years old or above. Please be assured any underage members will be required to provide ID and risk suspension.
If people are sitting on equipment we would strongly advise approaching a member of staff on the floor who will be able to help further. Thanks, PureGym

My surname is wrong on the advance direct debit mandate and twice my membership fully paid up and blameless was arbitrarily cancelled.

The gym was far too hot
The gym was far too hot. The temperature needs to be turned down (it is a place for working out).
The toilets / changing rooms were not as clean as I would expect.
