Really great
Really great. Happy to have started at Ealing a few months ago. Huge, almost football pitch in size. I'm still amazed at size of different spaces for various classes, let alone the huge and well stocked side room set aside for spin classes. Very clean, kept very tidy. Staff are helpful and polite. Used by regular people.

Unprofessional Manager
Today I met the gym manager while working out.
I asked politely what you spray with?
The name of the spray is Brunox turbo-spray.
I didn't understand why she had to spray every machine and every bench during peak hours when there were a lot of people in the gym. First of all, she should understand the ingredients. It is dangerous if you inhale it, especially for people with asthma and COPD. Secondly the gym is not hygienic at all.
I asked her why she had to do this at this time, instead of when there were people or even when the gym was closed?
She replied that there is no other time to do it.
That was unprofessional!
This will definitely be reported to higher health & safety services.

Lots of machines and
Purchased day passes while visiting friends. Lots of machines, clean, appreciated the women's area. We used the facility mid-morning during the week and although there were people around, it wasn't overcrowded. On the second day, I had a problem with my day pass (issue on my end, not a problem with the app). One of staff members and the manager couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I'll definitely use PureGym again when traveling.

Instructor Deimante Anuzyte at Ealing Broadway
I have attended several classes with instructor Deimante Anuzyte at Ealing Broadway PureGym. Let me say this; she does not play! Her classes are excellent, gruelling and original. You will be pouring with sweat but feeling so satisfied afterwards. Her approach is almost military and technical. Try out her classes.

Joined because i thought i would be able to get my discounts as I am only a student however had to pay the full fee

People pay extra for 4x monthly buddy passes but if your buddy has already created or had an old account with puregym it will block you using it.
Imagine how awkward it is when you're at the door waiting to go in and it doesn't work. You then spend another 30mins trying to reach customer service,..but it's a saturday and they don't work on those days. I was forced to pay for a day pass despite my friend having 4x passes that should be avaliable to me regardless of my email or details.
Would not recommend.
It has also been over 6 hours and still no update from Puregym.

NO CLEANING SUPPLIES
Great space, good equipment, but why on earth is there NO CLEANING SUPPLIES!???
I’m a new member and have been twice now and there is absolutely no cleaning spray/supplies to wipe down equipment before and after use. I have also yet to see any cleaning staff! It is a very busy gym and weights and machines are used by A LOT OF PEOPLE.
MY HANDS ARE GREY WITH DIRT & OTHER PEOPLE’S SWEAT AFTER A SHORT WORKOUT!
PLEASE CHANGE THIS, ITS SUCH AN EASY FIX! PUT OUT A FEW BOTTLES OF ANTIBACTERIAL SPRAY AND SOME BLUE ROLL FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!
I’m recovering from a viral bug which I’m sure I picked up from your gym, and have spent the last 3 days being very sick, which resulted in a trip A&E.
If this doesn’t change I’m finding another gym.

Good gym, only gripe is that there are not many lockers and there is nothing to clean things with. Some machines need a wipe down before use really…

The team also clean every piece of kit and surface throughout the day, from dumbbells to treadmills and everything in between, so you can train with confidence.
We've also installed new self-cleaning stations so you can clean your kit before and after use, for added peace of mind. Cleaning stations are located in all key areas of the gym to make it as easy as possible. Thanks, PureGym.
A mixed review
PROS: The gym space is really good, vibes, equipments, everything is top notch.
CONS: Change room for men is tiny and stinks most of the times. No overnight locker facility for plus members was a shock, strangely they keep cooling on even in extreme winters and did not change the temperature even after asking for it. Loud music from the classes near lifting area creates disturbance in lifting. Trainers are friendly and approachable but not the managers.

It's a great Gym (Ealing), but I need to find out if my squash racquets can fit into the lockers in the male changing area as they don't in the lockers near the entrance.

Lovely gym
Lovely gym, the ladies section is a real plus. However all ladies seem to use this space and it seems unfair that the men get a huge space and women are contained in space tenth the size. It’s obviously clear that women prefer to train separately so why can’t they have an equal share of space?
Also cell phone reception is very patchy and no wi-fi yet available- a must.
