I suspect they have sold my details
my daughters had joined last year,
decided to give it a go on a trial basis where i can go off peak for 4 weeks.
Fine, until I started receiving weightloss emails from companies that do not have an unsubscribe button. I have never received emails like this in my life. PureGym if you are responsible for this, just to inform you that this was not discussed with me and I did not consciously accept you selling my details.

A gym that likes to cancel family memberships for no reason
The gym wanted to cancel the entire family’s membership, for some lame reason to do with fraud. There was no fraud and we all have the same name. I just pay for them all! What’s the issue?
I was forced to verify who I was at the gym even though I pleaded with them to do online as I am busy. Naturally they can only do this in working hours. I spent ages at my local gym (Enfield) to verify the same information as before to avoid membership being cancelled. Despite spending time with the manager, they managed to screw this up and all the memberships were terminated!!
I emailed gym but no response. They really do not care and don’t know what they are doing on the ad
in front. Seem to enjoy cancelling membership for no reason!

Puregym was alright, good so far, unfortunately my body is slim & fit, balance to balance though. I might able to return puregym in New Year’s Eve and that it.

Good gym
I’ve been training at this gym for about a year now and I’m really happy with it! 💪 It has all the equipment you need for both strength and cardio workouts. It can get quite busy at times, but I’ve always been able to do my exercises without much waiting. The atmosphere is motivating, and I always feel great after my sessions. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

Rude staff and unhygienic but functionality-wise quite a good gym.
Please, note my review only relates to the gym in Enfield. The gym has a huge variety of machines for all sorts of exercises. My problem with the gym however was mainly extremely rude staff and the lack of maintenance - to the point where toilets and sinks were a burden to use. The gym was also very unclean. However, credit where it's due, as of August 2025, they have done a lot of renovation work which has improved the environment quite a lot. For the price you pay, especially considering you are in London, it does the job just fine.

Popular classes are over attended which…
Popular classes are over attended which leads to a shortage of equipment and space to exercise safely. There are areas that are dirty and equipment is also dirty. Air quality is also poor, air conditioning isn’t on when it needs to be. It’s a gym on a budget but that doesn’t mean there is a good reason for these issues.

Gym that has everything
Gym that has everything, that's nice.
But most of the lockers at the entrance are damaged.. And it's also hell of a mess - everywhere equipment on the floor after use which is not safe! I almost fell because of it once ! And sadly not clean too...

It is in the gym rules that members should return their own weights or risk suspension, but at peak times it can be hard to police this. However, staff on site do everything they can while we also have CCTV monitoring the free weights and are looking for new ways to address this.
