Dirty
In the past few months, the gym has become dirty and messy. The studio floor is always dirty now with random things on the floor like tissues, hair, dust etc - needs to be swept far more often. Also, the changing rooms are disgusting - always smelly, floors are stained, and surfaces aren't wiped regularly. Wouldn't break the bank to install some automatic air freshener machines and hire an actual cleaner. Aside from this, solid gym with good range of workout equipment and friendly staff, but will become practically unusable if the cleanliness standards drop much further.

Pure gym hayes
Place smells alot of the time, doesn't ever seem to be any staff on duty to help you. Can't contact by phone. Was charged £60 for parking in the car park on a Sunday morning because I hadn't verified parking which i had no idea I had to do. Place is usually a mess especially the weights. Overall a disgrace! Pretty sure I will be cancelling, especially if parking appeal is turned down.
Also sent them an email and had no response.
DEFINITELY WOULDN'T RECOMMEND

As we can see this ticket was issued by a parking company that we do not have any affiliation with, we are unfortunately unable to cancel this ticket. If your appeal is rejected, we would suggest submitting a case with POPLA. POPLA are an independent appeals process which works with the Ombudsman Service. They investigate whether this fine was issued correctly in accordance with the terms and condition of the car park; whilst reviewing evidence provided in the appeal. On the rejection notice, there should be a 10-digit verification code, and you will then be able to submit an appeal with POPLA via their website: http://www.popla.co.uk/poplaappealprocess. Although we cannot guarantee they will cancel the fine, we do hope for a positive outcome. I'm sorry that you have not received a response previously. It may be that an email you sent received an auto-response and this needed to be replied to before it was put through to an advisor. I love the aura but one thing i would…
I love the aura but one thing i would like to mention is that i am unable to find the smallest dumbbell 2 kg specifically.
Like its never there whenever i go to find but i dont how people get it may b they hide it in their personal locker. Please arrange that.

Hi there - Thank you for taking the time to leave this review, we always appreciate and take on board member feedback. We always advise that new members have an induction to ensure they are familiar with the layout of the gym and understand where everything is such as the light dumbbells.
Inductions are usually placed on the class time table. You can also get in touch with the Gym Manager via email, and an induction can be arranged for a specific date and time.
Alternatively, members are able to speak to the staff in the gym (if they are not on the gym floor, please feel free to knock on the staff room door) and have an induction. Thanks, PureGym.

Cycle Class
I really enjoy Shakir’s cycle class at Pure Gym! From the moment I signed up, I knew I was in for a fantastic experience. Shakir is one of the best instructors at the Hayes gym—his energy is contagious and he really knows how to motivate us to push our limits.
Not only does he curate an amazing playlist that keeps us moving, but the atmosphere in his classes is always fun and uplifting. I always leave feeling accomplished and energised after sweating it out. If you're looking for an exciting and effective workout, I highly recommend joining Shakir’s classes! You won’t regret it!

Everything in this gym is so dirty
Everything in this gym is so dirty. I don’t know why they cannot hire a full time cleaner. The female and male toilets are so dirty. Whoever is the manager of this place is completely useless. Sometimes things don’t work and take months for it to be fixed and so many of the cycles in the cycle studio do not work like they do not show the rpm or they are broken or shaking and not stable!! They finally at least changed the parking company from UKPC who were scammers to Euro Car Park

they gym is a good size with a good…
they gym is a good size with a good range of equipment but
1. the hygiene of some of the gym members must be addressed. a simple sign asking to use deodorant before using the gym facilities won't break the bank.
2. putting the dumbells back in the correct places is a big issue and this must be monitored more closely as this could become a health a safety issue with someone tripping over the dumbells
3. New lat pull down bar which doesn't rotate, this can damage cause injury when pulling down in a heavy lift.
4. some of the weight assisted machines have terrible grips in the handles, you cannot get a proper hold of the handle bars as they slip.
5. the showers/sinks are quite smelly and smell of sewage.

It is in the gym rules that members should return their own weights or risk suspension, but at peak times it can be hard to police this. However, staff on site do everything they can while we also have CCTV monitoring the free weights and are looking for new ways to address this.
Regarding the point which you have raised about the grip handles and sinks, please approach the Gym Manager or leave a note in the feedback box, which is regularly reviewed. Thanks, PureGym.
Stinking toilets
Stinking toilets, is it too hard to buy automatic fragrance dispensers, the urinals walls are soaked of pee the caulking around the basin has black mould the toilets stink no loo roll half the time the water dispensers are out of water almost every time the taps don’t even have enough pressure for drinking water theres no soap to wash your hands entrance windows need cleaning so does the areas where the bike racks are. Is there no manager here or if there is very little attention paid to all the details the STINKIEST GYM EVER DONT JOIN.
