The gym has all the equipment you could want. The staff are very friendly and at the same time professional. I never have dead time, there is very very rarely no machine free that I want.

I was visiting London from the US and doing a trial run for a few days while I was there, and one of their workers were very rude. They and did not make me feel welcomed at all. I will never step foot in the Hoxton Puregym location ever again. Not a chance!!!!!

I had a payment issue that I was ready to resolve but at first I didn’t like the way it was handled. After a bit of back and forth with the gym, we both came to an understanding about what needed to be done. They ended up offering exactly the kind of support I was hoping for even without me asking directly. Given what I was going through personally at the time, their response really meant a lot to me. Thank you, PureGym.

I’ve had an outstanding experience at PureGym and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, well-equipped, and welcoming fitness environment.
The gym is spotless, with staff regularly cleaning and maintaining the equipment. The variety of machines and free weights caters to every workout style, from beginner to advanced. I never have to wait long, even during peak hours.
What really stands out is the atmosphere—friendly, no-pressure, and supportive.

Hoxton Gym.
I am writing to formally raise a serious and ongoing health and safety concern regarding the conditions in the shower and drainage areas at the gym.
For the past two years, there has been a recurring issue with raw sewage — including visible faeces and urine — backing up through the drains. This forces members to walk through human waste, often barefoot, in order to use the showers. It is both deeply unhygienic and extremely hazardous to our health.
Worse still, the contamination is not confined to the shower area. It is being tracked around the gym on members' feet and shoes — including onto mats and shared workout equipment — creating a widespread hygiene risk throughout the facility.
It is important to stress that simply cleaning the area or attempting to unblock the drains from the surface is not a sufficient solution. This issue clearly stems from a more serious underlying plumbing or drainage problem that requires a thorough and professional investigation. A temporary clean-up does not address the root cause, and members should not be expected to tolerate recurring exposure to raw sewage.
This situation is unacceptable and demands immediate, decisive action. At a minimum, I expect:
A full inspection and remediation of the plumbing and drainage systems
Professional deep cleaning and disinfection of all affected areas
A permanent fix to prevent future sewage backflow
Transparent communication to members about the actions being taken
Please be advised that if this matter is not resolved properly and without further delay, I will be reporting it to the appropriate health and safety authorities, environmental health departments, and relevant regulatory bodies. This issue directly contradicts the standards expected in any facility promoting health, fitness, and wellbeing.

Not at all obvious which gyms I can access or not
Cannot amend membership to include other gyms due to billing cycle
Cannot buy a day pass whilst signed into an active membership elsewhere
£15 for a day pass is extortionate given the low quality of puregyms

Was good when it open but it went downhill after they hiked up the price from 20 quid to 37 and the gym has no signal as it’s a basement and the equipment isn’t the best.

Had my first 1-1 boxing session with Jason after a break. He was very patient and demonstrated what he’s teaching thoroughly so there’s no confusion. It was fun as well. I’d recommend him and I’ll definitely do more sessions with him

Great class ran by PT Jason Adomako every Tuesday evening!
Instructor is very attentive, advises well on intensity levels and also demonstrates alternative workouts if injured.
Highly recommend!

I had PT sessions with Jason from May-Aug, and he was very helpful. From the start, he was able to educate me more about food choices and exercises in the gym, all in a constructive way. He was also able to work around my schedule, which was very important to me.
He was successful in increasing my confidence in the gym, which was one the objectives that I wanted to achieve.
I’d recommend him.
