Our team do our very best to provide a wide range of classes, so that members have a variety of ways to workout and also do so, in a short amount of time, as we understand some members are crunched for time or just prefer short effective workouts. The place is full of new equipment…
The place is full of new equipment which is really plus. Spacious and nice to work out. The only back draw is the changing room floor. It's filthy with sticking dirt on it. My suggestion is that people should use gym trainers only not to be worn outside then bringing al the mud inside or the floor has to be cleaned constantly.

Class overbooking
I am still waiting for a response from the management team, but I have had my first “class overbooking” experience, and was not allowed to join a class I had booked. When I was doing a trial, I heard comments about this type of situation happening, but I had not experienced yet.

Great gym
Great gym, great facilities. Equipment for whatever training form your after - CrossFit, Olympic, spinning, etc. Could do with some more lockers in the changing room but otherwise everything you could ask for in a gym

Great gym overall
Gym Kingston is a new gym. The equipment is in great condition. Air quality and music are good. Free 2 hour parking great addition as well. Staff extremely helpful and with positive attitude.
Changing rooms are not good at all. They are just simply way too small.
Legs machines are always occupied as well. Leg extensions and leg curls. They should look to equip this gym with those two machines at least. Powerlifting area is great.
Overall a great gym that enjoy going to regularly.

One of the best gyms i have attended
Great gym, large space and one of the cleanest gyms i have been to, overall great range of equipment and exercises to do in the large space
Would recommend to others, just a slight drawback is because of the price it is busy majority of the time but if you go sub 11am normally is more than enough room to get a good workout in
It does appear as a more weightloss gym than a body building gym but you can do either and get very good value for ur moneu

We’re afraid it's true, our gyms simply are very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day.
Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website, to see how many people are in the gym.

First time in
When I arrived the manager took a little time to notice I was there, but when he did, he was warm and helpful. I got to the gym at a busy time so it was quite full, and people weren't always cleaning up after themselves. It would be nice to have some wipes or spray to clean machines/benches after using them too if they're all sweaty.

Many members seem to ignore the wiping…
Many members seem to ignore the wiping down of equipment, as I hardly saw anyone with a towel. There were also a staggering number of people wearing jeans and what appeared to be outside shoes. We witnessed people helping their friends to jump the barrier. As there were only two members of staff at what is probably the busiest time of the day, it is no surprise that this wasn't stopped.
There are no cleaning stations, the changing rooms are tiny with not enough benches.
On a positive note the gym is quite large and there is plenty of room to spread out. I will most likely be switching to another gym.

Well-equipped gym which values profits over customer experience
A very well-equipped large gym, but lack of respectful customers and no presence of staff means that weights are left all over the place, and general poor behaviour ruins the experience. Was trying to get my workout done and some teenagers were kicking a yoga ball around next to me, disturbing everyone while they hit the wall and machines with the ball. Someone else decided to make the PureGym a fine dining experience as they sat and watched people work out with their chicken nuggets, and I saw lots of people help their friends jump the barrier- all of which I thought was a bit unusual for a well-established gym branch, and I expect none of this would occur had there been staff present. This experience led me to choose a smaller and quieter gym where people seem to behave themselves. However, the gym is really big and has an amazing variety of machines and equipment, so potentially coming at a less busy time would lead to a better experience? Additionally, it is priced quite competitively, so if you aren't easily disturbed by others and don't mind having to sift through a pile of dumbbells, this may be the gym for you. Also as an afterthought I was rather unimpressed by the tiny changing room given the size of the gym. I also couldn't find a proper tap from which to fill up my water bottle and had to awkwardly angle it against a drinking fountain. Potentially I missed the tap but again there were no workers about to ask! The only tap I found had some funky flavours and required a special membership to use, which I thought was a little silly.
In summary: Good equipment, but having no staff in an attempt to increase profits leads to a terrible customer experience.

Great Gym and friendly team
Great location in Kingston, easy access and lots of equipments to use and couple of areas if you want to do workouts on your own. Just the changing room is too small and very close to the toilets which I think it was badly designed.
Friendly personal trainers with so many free daily classes.
Last but not least I have to say very well done to Nadia the branch manger who is very friendly and knowledgeable, specialy when she is doing here own classes. She is always active and whenever she is free she is tidings up the place keeping it safe for members.Pure Gym should be so proud of her.
