Great Experience
Became a member on Monday 16th February and attended "Get Started" class followed by "Pump" class. Visited again Wednesday for "Learn to Lift" followed by "Lift" class all with the trainer Hayden Webber. Extremely impressed with layout of gym, equipment available, gym facilities and especially Hayden who was very professional, helpful and understanding of medical history etc. Well done, looking forward to going back on Friday for "GLC" class with a different trainer. I would recommend visiting or joining this particular PureGym.

Orpington PureGym
Orpington PureGym was shut for 2 months, it keeps repeating. Happened twice before as well.
Would be great if it was sorted once and for all since the gym itself is fine.

I was promised a 30% discount which didn't materialise.
I was promised in an email that I received on 4th November from PureGym for the first three months from joining and this was what attracted me to Pure Gym membership.
Sadly the discount did not materialise when I applied leaving me rather disappointed with the experience.

1st time using this gym through my…
1st time using this gym through my daughter's buddy system and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The whole gym was very clean, and the equipment looked well maintained. Unfortunately, it's a little to far for me to fet too, but that doesn't take anything away from my review.

Been to a lot of gyms of the years and this is my favourite. Adam’s Pump class is a favourite and then also Hayden’s Body tone. Like the new treadmills which are nice and clean.

Always a good experience at Pure gym…
Always a good experience at Pure gym Orpington. The staff are friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Niall, Hayden and Darren.The only thing I would critique is the constant moving around of some of the sammlet equipment, can be a bit stressy to have to figure out where things are. Also the staffing can be better, only Niall on shift this morning and he seemed to run off his feet.

I am getting sick of the level of service I am getting - I have two pure gym plus memberships for both my sons who nominated me for buddy pass and I keep getting one activated and other cancelled despite using two different email addresses as advised - this is pathetic ad I keep ongoing in circles

As long as the main account holders have sent you a link you will be able to sign up and activate your Free Friend membership moving forward to join them at the gym 4 times a month.
As long as not using an email address linked to an existing active membership you can be added on as a Free Friend. These will only be cancelled if removed or replaced by the main account holder.

The staff are helpful and polite
The staff are helpful and polite. They are happy to show you how to use the equipment. I only gave 4stars as sometimes when you go down there it is very busy ( shame the app doesn’t let you now in advance by text or email when there is over a certain amount of people in the gym (like 100)

Our gyms are indeed very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website to see how many people are in the gym. It's on the main page when you open the app.
Please also feel free to ask to switch in with a member while they rest between sets, this can also help you keep an even pace between sets. Thanks, PureGym.
Not sure why I've been sent this
I've been a member for nearly ten years, so not sure why I've been sent this joining experience feedback request.
One point I'd like to raise with I'm being asked, is that a majority of the lockers in the male changing room are unusable, and require repairing. Other than that the staff, and equipment are excellent. I think you need a bigger premises, can get packed, especially at the beginning of the year with lots of newbies, and therefore booking with a trainer is useless, as it's a struggle to get on anything.

This gym is value for money
This gym is value for money. The classes are very good. Lots of cardio equipment & weights. Clean ladies changing room. At certain times can be very busy especially the treads maybe it’s because it’s January!! I’m sure it will even out. I’ve been a member of many gyms over the years and I was pleasantly surprised how good it was for the money.
