Needed assistance to reinstate my membership and Laura was really helpful and took the time to take me to the office and take me through the issue I was having. Always has a smile and cool person and very helpful in general.

Good price
Good price. I like it is always open, not crowded, with a good selection of machinery.

Sad state of maintenance
The gym is spacious and got everything you need over several floors in the underground just under the Piccadilly Circus Station, but the maintenance of it is getting worse and worse - AC on the top floor doesn't work for months, fancy water machine is also broken for a while, they cannot even replace the broken clocks on the wall... Shame, such a great potential!

Its a bit busy
Its a bit busy, but it’s clean and whoever is going there is taking care to wipe the surface after work out!

Excellent Gym experince
Really enjoy this gym. The gym is well equipped and a great place to train.
I have seen reviews commenting on gym cleanliness. From what I have seen this is down to some members who frankly don't have the decency to clean up after themselves. There are cleaners and also the trainers are often cleaning the gym and equipment.
I do a lot of classes as well and these are always excellent.

More squat racks
More squat racks, barbells, and free weights are needed. Those areas are full all of the time while the cardio area is half full at best.

Poor WiFi connection so unable to stream music on my phone. Changing room toilet sink area dirty and ran out of toilet roll. No hand gel. Not as clean and friendly as New Barnet yet much more expensive.

Peopleless service = Bad Service
I went to the gym to sign up. No staff. Sign-up via web. No wifi, poor cell service (it's in a basement). Went out to street to sign up. Don't take American Express. Walked home to add Visa number. Successfully signed up and got email receipt. To gain access you need a PIN (no staff) that they said at successful sign-up "By now you will have received your PIN by email". It's been almost an hour, no PIN. Sent a note to customer support, auto-reply thinks I want to cancel, I have to reply to email because that's (so far) wrong which will then be seemingly answered by a human...maybe...sometime. Phone number? That's déclassé.
UPDATE: A day later, no PIN, no email reply. I tried to login clicking "forgot PIN" and a PIN was finally sent. Still one-star service.

Great Zumba® Class at PureGym TCR
Great Zumba® Class at PureGym Tottenham Court Road last night with Becky Crawford.
After having been with PureGym Piccadilly since 2016 I have now cancelled my membership, due to the class timetable being dreadful.
At one point the Cycle Classes were at 7am Monday to Friday and now they are at 6:15pm Monday to Friday. Not all members want to do a Cycle Class 5 days a week.
Would have been great if the Zumba®, Dance, and Yoga classes were not going to be charged at £4 per class, meaning this has taking these classes off the timetable due to cost and lack of attendance.
It would be nice if the gym would schedule their class timetable around those who enjoy attending them.
I appreciate the Country is currently in a Cost of Living and Energy crisis affecting business and having to make cut backs, my loyalty is now with The Gym Group, as they are providing a better service at this time and have been attending classes with them since February 2023 when I joined.
The Gym Group class timetables are scheduled at the right times across a number of branches and also saving myself £7 month.

Overall it’s a great gym but NO wifi
Overall it’s a great gym, but there is no Wi-Fi that works. You have to Download a playlist of music for your visit otherwise it’s the gym in house music. For a membership of £40 it would be great if you could install some Wi-Fi just for your members rather than 02 hot spot.

I was visiting London and wanted to lift. Puregym’s Piccadilly location was convenient and open 24/7. Sign-up for a day pass was quick and easy. Instructions for accessing facility were clear and I had no trouble getting in. The Piccadilly facility is small but spotless and well-maintained. I was able to complete a solid workout.

It’s clean, well equipped and friendly staff.
I knocked one star off because the Pilates classes are no longer included. It’s a pity as I could workout and also work on flexibility and core as well.

The grime will become alive soon!
the management in Piccadilly has taken some action to improve the general conditions of the gym floors, like the big fans to keep the air flowing especially during summer which are very much welcomed.
The horror remains in the showers - they are visibly dirty, the color of the floor is now brown with grime and filth. I have recently given up showering at the gym due to the disgusting conditions.
I can only hope the hygienic conditions will improve soon - that would be a nice Christmas present from Pure Gym to all it's members!

Gym is great
Gym is great, well spaced out and never too crammed in my experience but highly sadly a huge let down is the painfully patchy WiFi- it had been ok but In the last couple of weeks it doesn’t connect at all. For a big group now, WiFi should be standard.
