The facilities of the gym are ok, but they seem to not have any consideration of the customer. They choose to do deep cleaning of the locker rooms at 8:30 which is the time where people are rushing to get dressed and get out, no consideration that a girl cleaning male locker rooms at this time might not be ideal; last week they decided to move the equipment down the stairs- again at 8:45?! People queueing at the stairs to get out of the gym- in a 24 gym surely there is a better time to do this.
This morning again 8:45 one pod out of order, the second pod was 'SLOW' the manager woman as usual sat on her bottom, just shaking her head, no assistance offered. She could have got up and let people in or out through the disabled door but that would require getting up.
The management is at fault here, but if you spend all day sitting there doing nothing what do you expect?

Over crowded means waiting for use of equipment a lot of time wasted.
Showers always dirty and no cold water option.

Been coming here since January and I don’t have much to complain about. I’ve heard this location is better than most in terms of equipment, unfortunately it seems word has spread so the gym has become more popular but that’s not in anyone’s control, and there are still quiet days. In the past few weeks I am sad to say that the general & cleaning staff haven’t been as great. I never see cleaning staff no matter the time of day or week I am there, and there are no facilities to clean the equipment yourself so when a situation arises like today where a member used an apparatus and left it completely covered in sweat, it isn’t useable of course this comes with a host of problems. A week ago I spilled my water and tried to clean it with some tissue to no avail, so I told the only member of staff on duty and he just said “oh I don’t know what to do, if you can find a cleaner that would be great I’m not sure where there is one”. Anyone that knows this gym knows it’s not big enough to lose another staff member in, and as the one supervising the gym I thought surely they would know if a cleaner is in at the time or not? I saw him wandering around for about an hour and considering I spilt the water within the first minute of getting in, it was only when I had finished my workout, got changed and was heading out the door that I was asked by said staff member if that was the water I had told him about, to which he then said he will put a sign out or something…I’m not sure why it took him over an hour to do this as I could’ve told this man how to handle the situation from start to finish.
Overall I have a level of concern for the hygiene/cleanliness and safety of the gym at the moment as no one seems to be proactive enough in supervising the gym and ensuring the days run smoothly on their shifts.

One door from 3 working. 100 people trying to leave and 100 people trying to get into the gym. My friend who is a paying member tailgate me. I don't have eyes in the back of my head. This stupid manager bans me but not my friend. No call, text or email. Not even the courtesy of any contact just "you are banned".
Nothing in the terms and conditions.
Ban me if I've broken the rules but ban both of us not just me.
Rubbish customer care and services

Nice place, good equipment, open 24/7 with free parking, clean, nice overall team.
Aircon is poor (or too low), it is quite warm so you swear a lot !
This was mentioned to the Gym manager a few times by others and myself, yet no improvement.

Easy to find, free parking for 2 hours. Clean inside, even though there’s now cleaning stations I took my own sweat towel. I saw staff cleaning the machines which was great. Classes are epic too

App is easy to use and set-up. Equipment is very good and gym large so that you do not feel shut in. Really reasonable membership cost and flexible without any hard sells.

The machines where mostly available and it wasn’t to busy but one downfall was no air conditioning so made it a hot workout

Gym is good with plenty of machines, however there needs to be more cleaning supplies to clean seats/benches/bars.

I Wasn’t happy that more then once the light cut off and we had to leave the gym.

The facilities are good but there is zero to none air con or air circulation, so if you’re on the treadmill you’re roasting by the time you’re even halfway through your workout…

Maidenhead pure gym is great during the daytime. I used to train in Puregym Hammersmith and Bayswater and they were so packed 24/7 it was a nightmare - with dumbbells absolutely everywhere, war zone - but the Maidenhead one has plenty of space, about 60 people during daytime. Loads of racks and tonnes of freeweights.
The machines are the usual cheap Puregym stuff but what do you expect for the price of an apple?
A bit of waiting for equipment, but i
