Gym is good but doesn't have a hack squat or other variations of the squat machine.I would definitely like to see these machines at the gym they have numerous variations at multifit which is another local gym.

We would like to assure you that we are reviewing feedback and will ensure this is addressed in club.
Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible.

Excellent job, but need to change something
Pure gym does an excellent job. But I recommend that you leave a warning to customers to put all fitness and bodybuilding accessories in their respective places. Don't take it out of place and leave it out of place, because the space is disorganized and not very recommendable.

Main air con turned off in the whole gym. Place is stiffleing. Ridiculous way to run a gym. Take your money but cost cut at the cost of members comfort. No staff around to talk to.

Temperatures/air con in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers.

Poor housekeeping
Gym was very dirty today. Gym floor messy with litter and weights, changing rooms and showers in an abysmal state. Members have to take some responsibility but standards have really slipped.

Yes that would be correct. This is one of the reasons a class may be cancelled on short notice by a PT. The same as when a member has to cancel within short notice due to an emergency. We do understand that there may be times where an unforeseen circumstance arises and this results in a missed class or a class cancelled late. We ask that you get in touch, so that we can discuss the matter further when this happens.

Too small and too busy
Too small and too busy. Why did they move from a bigger unit to a smaller unit on the retail park? It was already busy/full in the bigger unit!

Nobody was wearing a mask apart from…
Nobody was wearing a mask apart from me! Neither staff nor the gym members, that was ridiculous. The gym was full and not safe at all, no COVID regulations were held whatsoever. This needs to change before they close it down again.

Pump malfunction
Overall I’m happy with PureGym Eccles. The one area i was disappointed with though was the Pump class on Sundays. The class is taken by a guy who clearly doesn’t enjoy Pump and seems to have no idea it’s supposed to be a high energy, interactive experience. It was as though he was doing his own workout, not making eye contact with the class or explaining the movements. If Pump is offered by PureGym it should be done properly; it’s actually the main reason I joined.
