There was no toilet paper, or handsoap in the male changing room. It looks like no-one's been checking it at night. To make things worse, the accessible toilet is out of action. The shower cubicles have not been cleaned all weekend, I recognised the same empty shampoo bottle, pubic hairs and dried mucus from my previous visit.
There was a boy loitering in the changing room, who then went into the accessible shower unit, and was still in there when I left. So he's either died or is sleeping on the premises. Although, to be fair, neither of these behaviours is mentioned in the list of rules.
The floor of the studio has not been cleaned. I recognise the same items of debris which have been there all weekend. There's dust, grit, fluff, dead leaves and even a piece of chewing-gum. I expect the studio floor to be cleaner than the floor in the general areas because members have to exercise on it.
One of the rowers on the top floor has needed new batteries for at least a week. I have pointed this out, but nothing's been done, typically.
Update. It is now Monday a.m. I can confirm that the premises have not been cleaned at all over the weekend. The bins and toilet are overflowing, there is still no handsoap or bogroll. The accessible shower unit is being used as a toilet because there is no other option. The floors have not been swept, leaves everywhere. The same debris is in the shower cubicles. I dread going in now because of what I might find. The management team have given up and abdicated responsibility.
It's now the following Saturday. There is a big improvement today. I still don't like the idea of using a bacteria-laden green rag to wipe down the equipment. Other puregyms in the area provide paper towels. Some girls think it's appropriate to train in their bra and pants, and leave a damp patch.
At 5.10 a.m. two boys hijacked the stereo system to put on their own very loud music. They left at 5.50.
I still don't get how the so-called managers failed to notice that the cleaner hadn't turned up, allowing the rubbish to build up, when it was obvious to everyone else.
I´m astonished to see that the two meaningless mounds of meat who call themselves manager and assistant manager are still in situ.

In less than 5 min, I was in! Very good staff to allow you to take a look inside before making your decision

I recently signed up for a PureGym membership and attempted to access the gym for the first time today. However, when I tried to enter using my access code at the entrance, I was denied entry. Shortly after, I received an email stating that my access has been blocked and that I need to contact the manager to have it unblocked.
I’m quite confused by this situation, as this was my very first attempt to enter the gym, and I made sure to follow all the instructions provided in the welcome email. I would appreciate it if you could kindly look into this issue and advise me on the next steps to restore my access.

Pin would not work getting in or out of the gym

I had an amazing time at your gym! The gym is huge and has a great variety of machines and equipment. And I love that you have a gym in almost every district. It’s so convenient! Thanks a bunch!

Awful. Male cleaners randomly walking in in the female changing room while women are in their underwear is unacceptable.

Cramped space and far too hot. Nowhere to properly stretch out before a workout, changing rooms were pretty small.

The pin and QR code didn’t work!I recently visited this gym, and my experience was quite frustrating. The pin and QR code provided for entry didn't work at all. I tried many times and had to wait outside for someone to let me in, which was incredibly inconvenient. There was staff present, but she said she wasn't on shift and I had to follow other members to get inside. The next day, the same thing happened: my pin and QR code didn't work again. This really disrupted my workout routine. I hope the management addresses these technical issues soon.

Excellent staff, great equipment, lots of room and wide variety for every kind of gym goer.

The equipment in Manchester First St is a lot better quality than other pure gym sites I have been to, the facilities are clean.
However, with the limited space in the building I find the changing rooms very small, as I have not a lot of space to sit down and do my makeup after my work out/ on the way to work. I am also not a fan of having to buy a locker to store my bags in the changing rooms. Other gyms I have been to have a wristband or code on the lockers. Also having to load the app every time I want to leave and enter the gym isn't ideal as my phone isn't always fully charged, it would be great if their was a physical card or badge I could swipe to enter the gym instead.

Small gym and very tight space limited equipment and also kind of expensive for students

Easy but free joining fee offer did not applied to my nearest/chosen gym which was disappointing.
