The gym has a lot of equipment, 2 to 3 of the same thing for a lot of machines so you don't have to wait around for long, always clean, a lot of studio space and space around the gym to do free weight... See more
Easy access. Needs more regular organization of free weights. Needs more plates downstairs. Good on barbells upstairs. Plenty of cardio machines with a great street view.

The gym itself is ok
The gym itself is ok, i did not have a good experience at all with one of the Personal Trainers there and i advise any one to avoid this PT, i had 4 sessions with her the first session she showed up late, and the 4th session she just didn't bother showing up at all, i sat there for 15 minutes before a manager called her and she arrived saying she'd forgot about the session, during the sessions i was treated like a household pet dog, the sessions with this PT were what i would describe as authoritarian and emotionally abusive, she was bossing me around in the sessions in a manner that was degrading to me, she had me fetching and carrying gym equipment for her, i had 4 more sessions left but the sessions had to end because of this PT's bad behaviour, she tried to withhold the money i was owed for those 4 sessions, then tried to have my membership cancelled, even though i have been a member of Pure Gym for years, she is the worse trainer i have ever come across TANIA EMMANUEL, the reply to my post by puregym makes no sense as i sent over a complaint to Puregym yesterday on it, i also tried to leave this review on the puregym spinningfield website and they wouldn't put it up, so they are trying to hide what is going on

Busy
I got a membership because of how close the gym is to my university and all that. however after 2 visits I have cancelled it, firstly the gym is tiny for the location thats its in an after 4pm-5pm its nearly impossible to find weigths with how busy everything is there. for an experienced gym goer this isnt the place for you.

We’re afraid it's true, our gyms simply are very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website, to see how many people are in the gym.

The Manchester Spinningfields PureGym is well managed & organised - particularly around management of government guidelines for Covid.
Staff are friendly & approachable & the gym environment is clean & user friendly.
