Dirty and messy!
I’ve used many PureGyms across the country and they’re usually great value for money. However, while staying in Chorlton, I visited the Stretford PureGym and was really disappointed. The gym felt dark and gloomy, the machines were dirty, and there was rubbish on the floor. I normally enjoy spending a few hours training, but I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Great PT with Glen Kee
The gym was great. Staff were really welcoming and helpful!
I highly recommend bookings PT session there to understand the huge range of equipment. Glen Kee took me through a great warm up, weights and took the time to really explain exercises that would work for me.
Glen pushed me hard to achieve the goals I wanted from the session but also didn’t rush me, making sure I understood how to use each machine safely.
Can’t wait for another session!

I have been a member of pure gym…
I have been a member of pure gym stretford for many years. It is a great gym with a variety of classes led by professional personal trainers, the atmosphere is friendly the staff so helpful and approachable. There is a family like feeling at this gym, the classes in particular circuits, spin , pump and boxfit led by Asad are by far the most popular and you can definitely feel a workout. Equipment availability not the best at busier times but has good machines.

Equipment is good and access is great
Equipment is good and access is great. Upstairs gym has plenty of equipment and is airy but the freeweights room downstairs needs better aircon. It’s too warm and a bit wiffy.

Air con in our gyms is automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. - any broken equipment get fixed quickly.
-great staff and trainers, smiling n helpful.
-Manager on the round to make sure sanitizer and disposable towels are topped up.plz maintained this checks.
-quite area for any stretch or muscles exc.my best area 'Cutting corner' with battle rope.plz don't remove it

I paid for a day pass
I paid for a day pass , wouldn't gain access to the gym until I renewed membership and paid for another month , have all receipts for day pass payment on my phone which are non refundable, sort your app out , it's not helpful , having paid for a day pass I should have been allowed into the gym regardless of membership but wasn't allowed, you should have given me a day long access code, surely thats not difficult

Should have been great
It would have been great but when I downloaded the app, it wouldn't accept my pin. I had to say that I'd forgotten it and then it said I made too many failed attempts.

I have been a member of pure gym…for 5 years
I have been a member of pure gym stretford Manchester for 5 years . I have complained a couple of times to the manager about the air conditioning on full belt blasting out in December, Jan when it’s snowing outside it’s actually drafty and uncomfortable even with a full tracksuit on it is freezing also windows open. I have asked them to turn the air conditioning off as its not even neeeded in winter months to ne told its out of there hands and is controlled from lhead office its a joke the manager had his coat on and was downstairs as it’s warmer down there . I will be looking for a New gym also showers are cold again nothing done. 🤔🙁
