A better welcome would be appreciated
I went to try the gym on a day pass. It was fine but I couldn’t get in and pressed the bell but no answer. Ended up buying the pass online and working out. It would be good to have a bit more of a welcome for potential new members, but I liked the gym anyway so may join.

Day pass trial
Purchased a day pass for the Mansfield location as I’m looking to change gyms. Very easy process. Was happy overall with the session. Staff were nice and helpful. Equipment and choice were amazing! Clean and tidy, inviting environment. I’m joining pure

Good gym with good equipment
Good gym with good equipment, but it’s so irritating when some members stay on one piece of equipment for an hour ! Also when people are using 2 pieces of equipment super setting etc therefore preventing othe members from using them.

Easy sign up but beware of potholes!
Easy sign up. App gives plenty of helpful advice. Gym well equipped and clean.
Car park has some major and dangerous potholes in it and needs attention

I love the gym, BUT.......
I love the gym, love the fact that there is lots of equipment, lots of machines and lots of free weights. The atmosphere is friendly, and - so far - the place is not full of 'influencers' with cameras.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the vending machines are almost always broken. So far I am owed 2 bottles of water, a protein bar and a gym towel. Problem is, when the vending machines take your payment, then don't dispense the goods, all you can do is feel bad. There is literally no one you can tell. I had tonight's session ruined because I relied on the machine for my drinks (you know, to support the gym) but when it wasn't working I had to go home after half an hour, because training without a drink isn't good. I just wish there was something we could do about it, and yes I know it's only £13, but that may be a lot to some people. Also - it has to be said - the Mansfield Gym changing room always smells as though someone really ought to see a doctor. When I first joined i thought that might be an unfortunate one-off, but sadly it's a permanent feature. That's why I won't use the showers, it really is unpleasant to say the least. I still give it 4 though, because it's a great gym, it's just silly things that let it down, like fixing the vending machines, and spraying a whiff of air freshener. Simples.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.
