I enjoy the availability of the gym
I enjoy the availability of the equipment and the gym is open to the hours that suit me. The place feels secure as the clients can only access the gym using a code. The carpark is also well lit at the front of the gym

We’re afraid it's true, our gyms simply are very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day. To make the most of the space where possible, though, we are always looking to expand and improve our facilities. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website, to see how many people are in the gym.

Not like it used to be, too many cutbacks
Air con has been turned down a lot so very stuffy inside. In fact, the same old chestnut, lack of money but surely the client should get what they are paying for as PureGym charges have gone up but quality gone down a lot. Terrible lack of staff so no one to turn to when needed, why?
On the plus side, good to see the return of paper towels and spray even though not enough clients seem to use them, shame as it is disgusting to see machines covered in sweat. It is not worth cutting back on hygiene as it is very important.
As there is no physical member of staff to check you in, it gets noticed that there are a number of very young lads who enter and no staff to check their age etc, in this day and age I would have thought health & safety is an issue here as an accident could happen and then what?

Love it
Love the 24 hour access and it’s very popular, there are cleaners around the clock too which is great!
Some of the equipment could do with a little bit of maintaining, though.

PureGym gyms are the best.
I have been weight training for well over 50 years, I’ve used countless gyms in that time.
PureGym are the best that I’ve used and that includes gyms in other countries. Brilliant equipment, lovely staff and very clean.
The one downside and this is also true of gyms that I use in Spain, is the fact that other gym users sit on the equipment to use their phones, the other day I saw 6 people sat on benches and stood next to equipment for 30 minutes, maybe more on their phones.
