Unsafe Environment and Terrible Customer Serviceitle
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel I have to warn others. My experience at this gym was extremely disappointing. Not only was the customer service rude and unhelpful, but I also felt unsafe while working out. When I raised my concerns to the staff, they were dismissive and made no effort to resolve the issue.
A gym should be a place where you feel comfortable, supported, and secure—this was the complete opposite. I left feeling stressed and unwelcome. Definitely not worth the money, and I would advise others to look elsewhere for a gym that values its members and their wellbeing.

Excellent value for money offered
Excellent value for money offered. All machines and weights you'd expect from a gym at a fraction of the cost with 24 hr access. Can't complain.

Easy experience with choicing my gym plan
The offers were all laid out clearly and even specified duration of any discount and bolt on, simple easy to read, highlighted benefits easy.

2 weeks off due to holiday
After 2 weeks away due to holiday and a heavy cold a great personal trainer session with Solvita Skrivere. Hard work but enjoyable. Thanks for a great workout Solvita!

Mobile phones and hogging
Good gym spoilt by patrons hogging machines.
Far too many on phones, but staff do not tell anyone.

Not enough machines for weightlifting

Not what it used to be!
I used this particular gym back in 2017-2019 and if I'm honest it has deteriorated since then. The equipment seems to lack quality compared to gyms elsewhere, the lighting is bright and commercial which isn't how it used to be and creates very little atmosphere. There was no music being played in the 3 days I was there which makes a gym have a very strange vibe.
I think PureGym could use some investment into their existing gyms to ensure quality.
We also don't have a Pure Gym in Cornwall where I live so a membership would only be used when I'm visiting family in Milton Keynes.
Lastly, as a trans woman I felt heavily judged and even stared at by other users which doesn't happen elsewhere so perhaps beware of this.
