A big Kudos to PureGym management to take immediate action on back of my comments in trustpilot to not just to improve the shower area but refurbishing the entire men’s changing room to give it a fresh look! The success and failure of any business depend on how seriously and constructively the management take customer feedback so well done to Puregym!

Great value, not busy in mornings
Great value for money (I have an off peak membership). Not too busy in the mornings when I go before work or on the weekends. I don’t use classes so can’t comment on them but everyone is friendly and there is plenty of equipment which is really good.

EASILY the best gym in its class in MK
EASILY the best gym in its class for price per month, facilities, open space, availability and clientele in all of Milton Keynes. And I know because I road-tested every main gym in MK with a 1-day pass before committing to a membership at any of them.
Some muppet further down this list of reviews gave Pure Winterhill a 1 star and said "Awful. JD Gyms next door is better". No, it absolutely isn't.
Well, it is if you like kiddie "music" blaring at 400db in a dimly lit warehouse, where all the benches are screwed to the floor so you can't move them, and a ridiculous entry/exit system. And where the average member age is 14 and clearly all their workouts are copied from the latest idiotic Instagram post. I tried JD out and it is absolutely god-awful.
Not at Pure Gym; the clientele are older, know what they're doing better (especially with heavy weight), and the range of equipment is broader and there is more of it. The lighting is better (more natural daylight) and the staff are more congenial. Having said that, many of them simply mill around and don't even make eye contact when I walk past, despite having been a member for years. But since I'm not there for idle chit-chat that doesn't ultimately bother me and staff members like Eddy and Danielle more than make up for it.
A proper sealing door system means the inside temp remains ambient even on the hottest and coldest days of the year.
In 2021 they replaced their entire dumbbell weights from lowest to highest and in 2022 they had a full redecoration and refurb. Just recently in June-July they have been replacing the overhead lamps to create a "warmer" light at floor level.
My only niggle is that they recently removed their set cleaning stations, which customers used to sanitise equipment, however I believe they've done that to minimize paper towel waste. So it's a trade-off.
It's just over a tenner per month for a well-stocked commercial gym with good all-round facilities and plenty of space, light and air. Don't like any of those things? Please do go sign up somewhere else...please, I encourage it.

Cleaning stations
I do not understand why this gym is removing their cleaning stations. It is basic hygiene to have these so I feel comfortable to train knowing I can clean before and after I use equipment. This is appalling does not make sense to remove these things.

We developed industry-leading cleaning and hygiene protocols to help keep our members and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, however, with the reduced risk and in line with the Government’s ending of legal restrictions, we have decided to remove self-cleaning stations in our gyms, which will also support our sustainability objectives by reducing our paper towel waste. We’re proud to say that many of the protocols implemented during lockdown, such as frequent and regular cleaning, and improvements to our air ventilation systems, will continue to be a core part of our TrainSafe Commitment.

The flexible membership
The flexible membership, coupled with 24 hour operation is a major plus. Also, my Personal Trainer has really boosted my morale and confidence in myself.
Friendly members, great equipment, good shower cubicles, well-stocked vending machines, location and parking. I couldn’t possibly ask for more!
