There are plenty of machines and exercise is which you can do only problem really at peak times gets really really busy

Lack of Customer Support for Equipment Issues
I’ve been experiencing issues with the Multi vitamin-flavored water machine at PureGym for weeks now. Despite providing feedback through their app, there has been no response. It’s disappointing that, while they’re eager to charge extra for such amenities, there’s a lack of customer support when it’s needed the most. I’ve been hopeful for a fix each day, but it never happens. Considering the lack of attention to this matter, I’m contemplating switching gyms as PureGym is starting to feel like a ripoff.

Great facilities; rubbish etiquette
Great facilities, location and staff- i really love the place, BUT I’ve gotta say, people don’t re-rack. The free weights are usually all over the place- you often have to walk a mile to find a pair of dumbbells and LOADS of stuff left around the floor. Dangerous sometimes. Also, have often found Yanga water out of flavours or otherwise not working.
But I still give it 4 stars- which shows you how much I like the place.
(I’m a v early visitor- don’t know what its like the rest of the time).

No paper towel dispenser in 3rd level and cleaning…
No paper towel dispenser and cleaning aids in level 3 for gym users to clean equipments after.

PureGym prides itself on being able to offer state of the art fitness facilities to our members in a safe and welcoming environment. We developed industry-leading cleaning and hygiene protocols to help keep our members and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, however, with the reduced risk and in line with the Government’s ending of legal restrictions, we have decided to remove some self-cleaning stations in our gyms, which will also support our sustainability objectives by reducing our paper towel waste. We’re proud to say that many of the protocols implemented during lockdown, such as frequent and regular cleaning, and improvements to our air ventilation systems, will continue to be a core part of our TrainSafe Commitment.

I transfered to EldonGardens
I transfered to EldonGardens - Newcastle and found it to be quite depressing, no music, too hot and old machines. Not as good as the one I used to go to so quite dissappointed.

Broken lockers , lack of staff.
Over half the lockers in the men’s changing room are broken. The toilets ( there’s only 2) in men’s changing room are very dirty and bad smelling. And there was no Wi-Fi available. A very basic gym and lots of broken equipment and lack of staff to make complaints or ask questions. A reception would make a huge difference during the day. Very average but for the price it is fair. But there are better gyms in the city. Hope the lockers are addressed and hygiene in changing area’s improve.

Lockers are available on the gym floor. All issues are resolved as soon as safely possible, sometimes there is a delay as we wait on workers/parts. If you have any concerns you can speak to the staff on site, the Gym Manager, use the feedback box available in the gym or you can contact Member Services.

Badly looked after and lots of broken lockers.
The gym smelled really bad. I don’t think the air conditioning was working. A large number of the lockers in the men’s changing room were broken, bent and out of service.

Turn down the volume
The gym is really good, happy with equipment, price and cleanliness.
My only criticism is how loud the classes are. I can hear the spin class music while listening to my own music in headphone, and the instructor shouting at regular intervals. I appreciate that it’s meant to be motivating, but it really is excessive, especially the shouting.

Very unorganized
Very unorganized. Top floor smells like feet. Needs more squat rack. Needs more cables. Long wait for equipment. Too crowded. Need to fix lockers.

Decent enough 24 hour gym.
Decent enough 24 hour gym.. I feels a little too small and with too few benches and racks, I’ll often have to wait a long time to use equipment and even longer looking for plates ,even during off peak hours. It serves a purpose for the price and is convenient for me but isn’t amazing

Great place almost everything you need and ideal if you work late like myself get in and it's nice a quiet get on every piece of equipment you need just wish it had a punch bag
