Well there were confusing prices on the…
Well there were confusing prices on the website. I had seen, and showed staff at the time of signing up in the gym, that there was an offer for £17.99 for 6 months. Which is what I was interested in. One of the staff noticed that is was showing the offer for only 3 months elsewhere on the website. Which I wasn’t interested in. As I had been mislead one of the staff said that I would be able to getting it for the 6 months as that was the price advertised and told me to go ahead with the membership and that he’d sort it out afater taking my details. Last night the manager told me she didn’t have any evidence of this and that her colleague shouldn’t have made this offer.

Gym equipment was all in good…
Gym equipment was all in good condition. It was very busy though. Peak times you may have to wait to get equipment to use.

Our gyms are indeed very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website to see how many people are in the gym.
Please also feel free to ask to switch in with a member while they rest between sets, this can also help you keep an even pace between sets. Thanks, PureGym.

About the buddy memberships, they can go alongside you to your home gym 4 times per calendar month. E.g. 4 times in May, 4 times in June. They do not stack or roll over so are reset at the start of each month. It's great to hear you enjoy using the gym, please continue to have a brilliant time throughout your fitness journey! It was alright
It was alright. I was a David Lloyd member before moving abraod. I'm probably not your ideal audience. For me, not an option.
But for another audience I'm sure it is ideal. The signing in didn't suit me on the doorstep. The being a goldfish bowl to passing people and kids stood watching me on a treadmill wasn't for me. Watching people park in the disable bay with no disable badges.... not for me.

Convenient!
Love that it’s 24/7, super convenient with free parking and less than 5 mins from the train. Also loads of varied equipment!

It's been generally a good experience in this new gym. One thing that I am concerned about is the amount of equipment and facilities. I have visited the gym when it has been quieter but occasionally have had to wait for machines or change my exercise plan. There only two showers and that has also been a bottleneck.

Really great gym, got most of what you need good use of space. Feel like the only thing that’s not 5 stars is lack of cardio machines

Gyms an okay size, limited facilities
Gyms an okay size. A good selection of equipment and a good atmosphere. Sadly the changing rooms and toilets are what let the gym down. There’s only 3 individual toilets and 1 shower. 22 lockers and 1 mirror. This is obviously somewhat limited so does make it tricky, specially for morning workouts prior to work.

There was no joining fee advertised and code given but this wasn't applied when I joined so I was charged joining fee.
