Great app to work with and low monthly cost
Very easy site and signing up process. Been previous member a good number of years ago and was impressed with how much the app has improved and the additional information available eg healthy recipes. The classes were super easy to book onto and the induction process reminded me of how good the facilities are. I am delighted with my decision to join again - and the fees are very competitive!

Such a poor and outdated gym
Such a poor and outdated gym. The layout is confused, a very small weights section, alot of the machines are rusty or out of action. I see why they charge such a decent rate now for membership, it's the classic cheap but not so cheerful motto. Snap fitness where I am now is leading the way and makes PureGym look a laughing stock

We always aim to provide a broad spread of kit to cater to a range of fitness needs and meet demand as it changes through the day, getting the balance right between weights and cardio.
This includes staff undertaking regular maintenance checks and working hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken.
We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible.
We would like to assure you that we are reviewing feedback and will ensure this is addressed in club.

Easily accessible
Easily accessible, all via app on phone, lots of equipment so no waiting for something, can always use another piece. Lots of bikes and treadmills. 24 hour access

I went with a member for free on the buddy scheme ( once a week allowed) for an extra £3 to the member.
It’s a good way of seeing if it’s for you without joining up and you go with a friend too.

Totally inadequate sub, sub standard, pt2
Shocking!
You reply with a generic, standard, patronising, condenseding response. None of the real issues which I highlighted were addressed in your reply in anyway whatsoever
PureGym have also chosen to ignore my first complaint regarding intimidating conditions. I note that you comment you are always on the lookout for new sites to upgrade current gyms. You didn't look that far as snap fitness managed to open up in building far superior PG Northwich.
The arrogance of you towards your members=customer is unbelievable. You are in a privileged position which you use to take advantage of people and have no interest in legitimate issues and concerns

Outstanding value for money and a warm welcome - I couldn't have asked for a better joining experience
I'm really impressed with the way Dom and Alina communicated with me during sign up, so have decided to write a review. The customer service provided by the management team was over and above what I expected. First impressions:
-this gym is being managed to a high standard
-is outstanding value for money
-the staff care about what they do.
I haven't used the gym equipment as yet however I have really enjoyed all of the classes I have attended and this morning's BODYTONE class with James was exceptional. It was a well thought out/planned class and he was able to guide us through this workout in a motivated way whilst paying close attention to everyone's different fitness levels, ability, and needs. I found him to be a very professional and considerate trainer and I'm looking forward to his next class. I actually feel spoilt for choice with the number of great classes to choose from at this gym and I understand popular classes are to be expanded/scheduled on further days too - amazing!

All the official bumph says the gym is…
All the official bumph says the gym is open 24/7 and 365 days4. Yet there are notices on FB and in the gym that say its closed from 1600 hours on Christmas Eve and all day Christmas day.
Isn't this blatant misrepresentation or to put it bluntly, lying?
Also I completely agree with the most recent review about the further misrepresentation that their facilities have been "upgraded". They have decreased equipment and pandered to a small subset of gym users. Yes they are hugely oversubscribed and corporate greed seems to have sacrificed the overall quality of membership.

We gave all of our staff 1 day off for the year on Christmas Day to enjoy the day with their family and friends. Majority of our gyms re-opened on Boxing Day. Posters were placed in all gyms advertising the hours at least 1 week before so members were aware of this.
