The gym is undergoing some internal upgrades. The initial layout was badly planned with most cardio equipment too close to each other. I personally complained to the Gym manager about this.... See more

Pure Gym in Nuneaton is definitely one of the best gyms in the area. The gym is always so clean and the staff are so friendly. Staff are approachable and always available to speak to if you have any concerns. I do PT sessions with Lee, and he is brilliant. One of the best PT’s out there!

Been a member since it opened and generally really happy. Love the Cycle classes with Andy Hopkins and Lewis Pook. But why is the air con so poor? It is barely noticeable throughout the gym but virtually non-existent in the Cycle area. Surely this can be addressed quickly and easily??

The gym has every machine/equipment you need and is reasonably priced. Unfortunately it is just always overcrowded. The gym shower/changing facilities could also be improved with changing cubicles and better hairdryers.

Good variety of machines and the music was low for a change which was even better.

Really nice Gym, all the PTs are great and willing to guide you and help you. Super friendly atmosphere. Simply love it!
I would recommend adding more classes in the early hours in the morning, other than that, keep doing the amazing job you are doing guys! ❤️

Classes are the best I've stayed motivated for over a year. Especially Andy s spin class 630am .Worth getting up so early for. Andy motivates us all and his playlists work so well with spinning. A very happy member.

The services and the atmosphere in the is conducive and friendly.
The cleaning is good. No toilets in the changing rooms is what I didn't like.

I’ve had a good experience so far at the nuneaton pure gym.started going since January 2013.currently only go 4 times a month as an add on.but would like to increase.best to go off peak times as it can get quite busy and not a lot availability on equipment then.but very clean tidy .plenty of variety in equipment.free parking if you use the hole punching machine on your rope walk parking ticket for upto 2hrs.would definitely recommend this gym 😁

Theres lots of equipment and everyone is friendly. The only down side is shared toilets, there isnt enough and there are always dirty

Overall I love this gym (Nuneaton) friendly staff and great classes, however the toilets really need some TLC, there are only 3 and they are unisex - none in the changing rooms so often none available due the number of people in the gym. Also, the lockers really need an upgrade too: lots of dodgy locking systems that don’t work so it’s sometimes a worry that I’ll lock my stuff in and not be able to unlock the door. Would be great if they could have new lockers!

The gym is large and so have up until now felt I can socially distance quite well. However the cleanliness is really poor since the ladies who used to work there have moved on. The toilets (shared gender) are repulsive all the time, even when they've just been supposedly checked by the management on the rota. Pubic hairs, urine and god knows what all over the bowl and seats. I dropped my water bottle on the floor and had to mop up with toilet tissue so the next person didn't slip and it came up black, I don't think the floors can ever have been mopped. The sanitising sprays have not been refreshed in months so unlikely will actually be useful when used to clean equipment and most of them have been empty completely since November. For someone who has an immune system problem these areas are very important and the gym managers just aren't looking after customers (my review is not the only one mentioning cleanliness). To add to that the air smells stagnant and stale/ damp so although the air conditioning vents themselves are periodically cleaned the system needs a complete overhaul since we're dealing with so many bugs and viruses this year. An absolute shame things have been left to slide this way, especially when vulnerable people like myself have found benefit of using. I think I will be cancelling my membership to be honest. Fine if you're a gym goer who has no hygiene standards but otherwise you're best looking elsewhere.
