Its a pretty good gym
Its a pretty good gym. Shower areas, changing rooms, and bathrooms are always clean. I don't know how to turn on half the machines so I stand there like an idiot for 3 minutes just pushing buttons only to give up but wtv. little expensive but its a gym membership so it's expected.

Couldn’t get in
My daughter signed me up for a free day pass but misunderstood that she needed to set the day. Hence no gym experience.

Each day pass expires at midnight. If you buy a day pass at 2pm, you have until midnight on the same day to use the gym. Please note that day passes do not last 24 hours.
There’s an option to delay your day pass start date for up to one month.

A good welcome and helpful tour round all the equipment. Someone was always available to help, as was necessary when one of the treadmills did not work.

Friendly staff, gym facilities adequate
The staff were friendly, helpful and approachable. The equipment are in good condition and adequate. It's quieter during the off peak hours. The changing room and toilets look clean this morning. However, I feel PureGym needs more experienced instructors for classes. They used to have more experienced instructors. The yoga instructor should memorise what she needs to say during the session so that she doesn't need to read from her text book during a yoga class as it looked unprofessional.
I would like more classes in the mornings. I particularly would like to a Zumba class, a body step class and more yoga classes at off peak hours. Puregym needs to keep up the good work and keep to consistent high standard to compete with Buzz gym that's also in the centre of town.

Simple to sign up and sign into the app, I could have been in the gym within half an hour of signing up if I had wanted.
Have since used the facilities twice and think it's brilliant value and the app entry into the gym works very well.

I paid for daily access and no code was sent to me to enter the gym.
I want a refund of the price paid immediately.
And I want also to mention the time wasted going to the gym and coming back that no one will give me back.

Not available for international iOS users
The app is not available for iOS devices with another region/country set in the app store. A lot of students at Oxford are international and have AppleOne subscriptions that are shared amongst family members on different continents– which doesn't allow us to change the 'region' for our phones unless we cancel our AppleOne subscription and kick off our family members from Apple Music, etc. So frustrating.

Overbooked Classes Constantly
Despite booking two weeks in advance for classes, they are so full that you can't get a space or equipment. Very unresponsive management overall.

Smooth
Smooth, quick and easy. Provided me with guest pass so I could attend a Pilates class with my friend who is a member. I like the facility, and am curious about the cost of membership.
