Great gym
Great gym - with appalling toilet facilities. The smell is terrible due to the ONE men’s toilet. There should be 4 per 91 - 100 (males). Which is a shame as everything else is spot on.

Induction cancelled without notification.
Setting up and activating the new account and booking an initial induction session was easy. Unfortunately, when I arrived for the induction I wasn't met and discovered the session had been cancelled as the nominated fitness coach no longer worked at the gym. I didn't receive a notification of the cancellation or wasn't offered an alternative session/coach.
Fortunately, a member of staff who was waiting to commence a personal trainer session gave me a very brief induction so my trip wasn't wasted.

As commercial gyms go it’s fine
As commercial gyms go it’s fine, all the equipment you need for a good workout. My only issue would be the set-up, body part machines and cardio on both floors doesn’t make sense to me

Customers… an inconvenience.
This company deliberately refuses to engage other than through a chat service which promises a reply ‘usually within 12 hours’. They’ve chosen not to bother having phone lines. They don’t provide up-to-date information about sudden, unexpected, and in the end unexplained, closures of some gyms. Those are the signs of a cash cow, not a company with any concern for its customers.

When a gym closes, all members of this gym are sent an email explaining the closure and what options they have in regarding to alternate gyms they can visit. Sometimes this can fall into junk/spam and can be missed.

APPALLING VOLUME OF RAVE MUSIC EARLY IN THE MORNING
This is the third complaint I have written about the appalling volume of music in Pure Gym in Salisbury. It is simply not acceptable.
I have spent over £200 on two sets of noise cancelling headphones in order to drown out the rave music being played at a high volume on a Sunday morning! I was the only person in the gym at 4.30 am and it felt as though I was going to a RAVE!
After my second complaint I was shown where the volume control was and so I was able to turn the volume down myself, however this now seems to have been over ridden. May I respectfully ask why people want to listen to music at this level when most of them wear their own headphones anyway?
If there was another 24 hour gym in Salisbury then I would immediately leave Pure Gym and join somewhere else.
I get up early to work out early for my own well-being before going to work. I run my own business and listen to my clients and find it appalling that Pure Gym do not take notice of negative feedback.

Mostly great
PureGym Salisbury is great for the majority of the time, the equipment is good and staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
The only thing letting it down is how long it takes for equipment to get fixed when it breaks - of course things are going to break occasionally, they get some heavy use and nothing lasts forever but equipment is out for ages when it breaks, there must be a way to get things fixed faster.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.
