Great classes but cleaning of the gym, studio and changing rooms is sadly lacking.

One toilet in the men's changing room…
One toilet in the men's changing room which is regularly out of order.
Shower and drainage smells of raw sewage.
Gym so busy that you have to queue for the equipment.

No disposable cleaning tissue to clean…
No disposable cleaning tissue to clean equipment (blue tissue) and showers were dirty at 11.00 am in the morning. Layout of equipment would be better arranged into muscle groups.

PureGym prides itself on being able to offer state of the art fitness facilities to our members in a safe and welcoming environment. We developed industry-leading cleaning and hygiene protocols to help keep our members and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, however, with the reduced risk and in line with the Government’s ending of legal restrictions, we have decided to remove self-cleaning stations in our gyms, which will also support our sustainability objectives by reducing our paper towel waste. We’re proud to say that many of the protocols implemented during lockdown, such as frequent and regular cleaning, and improvements to our air ventilation systems, will continue to be a core part of our TrainSafe Commitment.

I would describe it as the Whetherspoons of gyms. It's like a gym warehouse. It's ok and has some good equipment but I personally don't like the vibe too much.
They could do with some hangers in the actual shower cubicles too.

People saying machines are broken or…
People saying machines are broken or out of order for weeks aren’t being honest I’m afraid. I’ve been over 120 times since it opened and have only once seen a broken machine. There are not piles of rubbish as one reviewer stated, or mud on the stairs. Or rubbish outside the changing rooms. It does get busy at times and could use a hack squat machine.

Supposed to be cheap but no student discount and excludes sevenoaks and area. RIp off to be fair. They advertise great prices but Sencio (when open) was cheaper!

Staff can be really rude
So this can be great as long as there isn't a class on. There are a couple of gym instructors who turn the music up so loud you cant even hear your headphones. I have politely asked a couple of time if they could turn it down but generally the response is pretty rude. This morning an instructor was particularly unpleasant hence the negative review. A couple of other people were going to approach him as well however having seen the response I got decided against it.

PureGym Sevenoaks - good value and facilities
I started at PureGym the day it opened in November 2022.
The two Beth's and personal trainers are always welcoming and helpful. The gym caters for everyone, from a beginner, experienced gym goer or anyone who only wants to attend classes.

Our visit using this gym for the first time was an experience, the equipment we used was easy to use, there was a good atmosphere, and need to return for more workouts

the Pilates class I had booked 17;00 on Wednesday 15/02/23 was cancelled while we were waiting. I understand that it was not PureGyms fault but I would be penalised as a customer if I don't turn up for a class.

Great Gym
The Gym itself is great! Lots of space, equipment and variety. The staff are friendly and don’t interfere trying to get a class booking out of you.
Changing and facilities are nice. My only complaints would be groups of students gathering round equipment and loitering/vaping in the changing the rooms.
Apart from that it’s a great place to work out or socialise in the toilets with tutti fruiti cloud chasers.
