South Ruislip pure gym
I really enjoy the atmosphere at Pure Gym South Ruislip . The staff are well led and friendly . I enjoy all classes led by Ben , Aaron, Ewelina, and Marcos .they are all professional and motivating . The gym is exceptionally clean . Ben is a good manager supported well by Aaron .

Good variety of equipment
Good variety of equipment, clean, safe environment. Not to many attention seekers who are more interested in hooking up then toning up.

The gym is infested with flies
The gym is infested with flies. Having flies crawl on your skin when you are working out is vile. Constantly having to bat them away and watching them scurry around the machines whilst you are focusing on a workout is stress inducing and repulsive.
Was never able to book a single class because they are always fully booked weeks in advance.
Gym is located near a waste facility that means it smells like death at some points, worse late at night.
Worst gym I have ever been to, in terms of conditions and more importantly the atrocious lack of customer care.
They increased my bill from 14.99 to 25.99 without even as much as a courtesy email or text message or notification in the app.
I understand it is a promotional offer, but a courtesy notification is a basic expectation, but this business obviously hope that customers will forget 6 months later and won't notice and pay for eternity.
The app conveniently hides the membership cost when you click on account and membership details - it only shows whether your membership is active or not. They even charge you just to freeze it!
Glad I checked my bank account and noticed. Disgusting business ethics and disgusting gym. I stopped attending because of the flies, but held onto my membership in the hopes I could one day book a class. I've now finally cancelled.
Not worth the price, the stress, and the nail in the coffin is the shady business practices. It's 2024, you expect better. I don't give my money to businesses that operate like this.

I gym at a reasonable price the equipment is broken for periods of time with slow repairs. The staff are friendly and equipment can be hard to get on due to the numbers. Shower are clean but small size with plenty of lockers.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. Thanks, PureGym

Friendly staff. Clean gym. Welcoming to all ages & abilities. Good classes. Would like longer spin classes 45 mins in the evenings -please !

Clean well equipped Gym. Lots of machines, free weights and classes. Large free car park. Open 24/7.

Clean environment, equipment quality and availability is good.

System update not my problem
I don’t know what kind of system you guys have set up right now but you honestly need to sort it out. Why am I now being refused access to the gyms I have previously used! Ur customer service staff are useless telling me I can gain access when I know I can’t coz I tried today and now want to charge me more to gain access again ! That’s not gonna happen
Absolutely not impressed after I have been told it’s due to a system update from a staff member at another PureGym
Your update is not my problem just fix my access to the gyms I need and pay for

We offer various memberships; this includes various multi-access and PLUS memberships which, depending on which gyms you need access too, will vary in price.

The bring a buddy system didn’t work
The bring a buddy system didn’t work on the app for a second time (so Premium membership is a waste of money) and it was only sorted when a member of staff came and sorted it a different way. Took 20 minutes to get in.

Any issues adding your chosen Free Friend via the link in the App please reach out to our Member Services team who can look into this further.
On the day just ensure the main member enters the club first, then the chosen Free Friend can access the gym with their own PureGym Pin.
They can join you 4 times a month at your home club, with visits resetting on the 1st of each month. Thanks, PureGym
