Best gym in the area
There are a few gyms around here, but this is by far the largest, with decent parking and it is 24hrs.

Much needed gym in Ruislip
The gym is lovely and spacious and the team are very friendly and helpful.
I absolutely love Vivien’s classes. She is so motivating and I already learned so much from her. I never used to like classes but now I can’t allow myself to miss any.
It’s a 10/10 experience for me and I’m so glad this gym is in the area.

Best gym ever!
I absolutely love this gym, one of best I've ever joined!
I have been at PureGym for only a month, I go for classes and my own workouts many times a week because I can't get enough of it 🤣
First reason is there's so much to do, you're never bored because there's so much variety from the machines to the types of classes. There's a lot of space as well, which is good as it does get busy, so there is always something to do.
Second reason, the gym community is amazing! All the PTs are really chilled, you can ask them anything and they make you feel really comfortable whether you're a first timer or have random questions.
Aaron and Jonnah are great guys - I enjoy their spin and LBT classes the most. Both of their energies are electric and truly infectious because you get as motivated as them to meet your targets during their classes. They're also great to talk to generally when you meet them at the gym, always there to help!
Georgiana is fantastic - I never miss her Zumba classes, I have become addicted to them now! She's got good energy, her music and routines are fire, and she's all round a really nice person too. I used to take advantage of zumba thinking it doesn't work out my muscles, but omg Georgia's classes make everything burn in the best way possible!
The other PTs there are great, not too serious or pressuring. They all have different ways of helping you tone, build muscle and stretch, so you don't get bored of seeing the same exercises.
If you're thinking of starting the gym, defo go for PureGym S.Ruislip!

Music and Equipment
1. Music during classes on the floor is too loud I am having to put my headphones at top volume and still can hear them clearly.
2. Some of the in-demand equipment needs to be duplicated. Eg: two sessions this week I couldn't do leg press as there was a queue.

Parking Ticket
I went to the morning gym class on the 12th and 14th of March. I now have received two parking tickets. On the website it says free parking. I don't think I would go back to the south ruislip pure gym again.

We are sorry to hear that you received a parking fine whilst using the gym.
The car park is operated by a third party company in which we do not have any affiliation with. Therefore, we are unfortunately unable to cancel such tickets.
Information regarding parking is available on the home page of any PureGym which offers parking. The correct parking procedures must be followed, to avoid a parking ticket.
You can use your attendance log as evidence and this can be printed off from your Members Area. Hope this helps with your appeal! Thanks, PureGym.
Watch out for Parking terms
Very spacious gym, with decent equipment expected from a budget gym. Best thing about it is the number of squat racks available.
Could do with doubling up on certain pieces of equipment.
Worst thing about it is the lack of information on what to do when parking between 9:30pm to 7:30am (hence reduced stars). UKPC manage the car park and do not allow any parking between those times (read the small print on the parking boards - the sneaky f***ers) - you will get a PCN. To avoid this you need to enter your reg on a machine inside the gym - the gym needs to make this clearer on its website.

We always aim to provide a broad spread of kit to cater to a range of fitness needs and meet demand as it changes through the day, getting the balance right between weights and cardio, but if you have any specific suggestions please approach the Gym Manager or leave a note in the feedback box, which is regularly reviewed.
With regards to parking, we do advise on the website the following: 'Parking restrictions may apply. Please check in the car park before you enter the gym. PureGym is not responsible for any parking fines.'
In the meantime, I really do hope this does not put you off from attending the gym. Thanks, PureGym.
Great New Gym in Ruislip
Spacious, clean and well equipped. Excellent spin classes, and ALL the staff have been polite and helpful. The parking arrangements were very clearly displayed when we made our first visit a couple of weeks back.

Extremely rude staff
Pin didn’t work and staff refused to let me in and were extremely rude saying they would suspend my membership if I tried to enter despite being a paying member. Unacceptable and I will now cancel my membership.

Awful experience
Awful experience, I have used the gym 4 times since joining between the hours of 5-7am. Funny how PureGym do not inform members that the free parking is not a 24/7 offer. In small print once you find the “*” at the bottom of the page they tell you restrictions may apply. I have ended up with £240 in parking fines from UKPC. Absolutely disgraceful to not share this information clearly with members.

I'm afraid PureGym don’t have control over parking fines because the car park is owned by an external company. If your appeal has been rejected when submitting attendance logs we would recommend contacting POPLA they are an independent appeals process which works with the Ombudsman Service.
They investigate whether this fine was issued correctly in accordance with the terms and condition of the car park whilst reviewing evidence provided in the appeal. Thanks, PureGym.
