Temperatures in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. Torquay Pure Gym
In reference to the Torquay Pure Gym, I was sent a snotty email saying I had let somebody else use my pin number, I absolutely haven't done this or has it even crossed my mind to do so. They then proceeded to try and argue the point on instagram with absolutely no foundation. The gym often has broken machines, staff engagement is zero, constantly stood around on phones, I think I recieved two 'hellos' in two years! Avoid these terrible gyms and stick with well equipped more personable places, preferably locally owned.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. Sorry I need to cancel and that is proving difficult as once I got into the app the classes times don't fit my needs so for now I need to look further and see if I can change cant freeze as delayed live so I cant cancel it eitherits not active I've paid the first month how do I get a refund it is returned active until 29th

You can cancel your membership anytime or make any changes, at any point! The easiest way to cancel your PureGym membership is through the online cancellation process. Please cancel your membership at least 4 working days before your next payment is due to ensure no further payments are collected. Once that's done, your membership will end the day before your next payment day. I called in and asked to look around before joining. Brad was extremely helpful and not pushy. The atmosphere inside felt good, lots of equipment and particularly liked the women's separate section.

Great staff
Great gym experience that doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable. Staff are outstanding, happy and ready to help. Could do with some extra machines ie.. squat machine and another leg extension as they are popular and can wait a while to get on them. Classes are brilliant and fun.

Pure Gym Torquay is awesome
I am writing to share my positive experience at the Torquay Pure Gym, particularly highlighting the exceptional efforts of Simon and the team.
During my visits, it has become evident that the Torquay location fosters a strong sense of community. Members actively participate in maintaining the gym environment—racking weights, cleaning benches, and offering assistance to one another. This collaborative spirit greatly enhances the overall experience for all gym-goers.
While I occasionally express concerns regarding the availability of cleaning products, I appreciate the team's commitment to maintaining a clean space and addressing member feedback promptly. Simon has always made it a point to listen to my suggestions and concerns, which speaks volumes about the gym’s dedication to continuous improvement.
The personal trainers at this location are equally commendable, exhibiting friendliness and approachability that contributes positively to the gym atmosphere.
I genuinely believe that the standards observed at the Torquay gym could serve as a valuable model for other Pure Gym locations. While Torquay may not be perfect, it is clear that the team is dedicated to making continuous improvements.

Easy to use and straightforward. The questions at the end of the sign up asking about previous gym experience and what goals I had was jumping about a bit. When I went to complete the 3rd page it jumped back.
