Clean and awesome selection of equipment
This location puts the Altrincham location to shame. Not only was the owner condescending when I informed him of the filth that was the ladies room (along with a broken toilet) I was told the gym might not be for me. Wonderful way to make both a foreigner and gym go-er feel welcomed 🙄. The Tyldesley location was the complete opposite. The gym is super clean, it's in a great location and I actually feel supported here.

Mould on the walls
I like the Tyldesley PureGym because the equipment is good and it’s new, however it’s extremely hard to find a time when it isn’t too busy in there. Going when it’s too busy is honestly hell, you can’t get on any equipment and it just takes forever to do your planned workout. Plus the carpark is tiny so good luck parking during peak times.
Also when I went yesterday, I noticed there is black mould on a lot of the walls, for example in the corner of the ceiling where the speaker is above the green track. There’s also mould on the walls around the fire exit near to the leg press machine, as well as other areas. The air con never seems to be on, or if it is on it’s very very poor. Also a lot of the time there is heavy condensation on the windows especially during peak times. Clearly there is no ventilation in there and I’m concerned that everyone in there including me is breathing in the black mould that is on the walls. This is a heath and safety hazard surely? How has the staff not noticed this/if they have how has it got to the point where they’re allowing mould to grow on the walls without taking action?

We’re afraid it's true, our gyms simply are very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website, to see how many people are in the gym.
If you have any concerns regarding the gym, we advise speaking to the Gym Manager so they can discuss these further with you.

Just surprised
A few things happened recently which need to be addressed. Firstly crosstrainer out of action nearly 3 week.
Saw a personal trainer with a client just leave track bar loadwd and just walk away,dispited notices around the gym to replace equipment after use.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. We would like to assure you that we are reviewing feedback and will ensure this is addressed in club.
Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.
