Bad smell in the toilet
Oh my goodness, the gym toilet is absolutely horrendous! It's smells like a toxic waste dump in there. Could they please install a few more exhaust fans to help clear out that putrid stench? It's like stepping into a McDonald's bathroom from hell. I am definitely not lovin' it!

Very large space and well spread out
Very large space and well spread out, hence not humid and oppressive like in smaller gyms. Good quality and abundant equipment. Safe. Excellent changing rooms. Spin class was very enjoyable and the right duration, although intensity could be higher.
Overall created a very favourable impression.

I came specifically to use the machines. 2 of these were broken, which kind of spoiled my plan.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.

Excellent for general use fair for pro athletes
Limited variety of equipment was the only problem for me as a pro athlete I expected to have a vast number of different machines and equipments

The gym itself is upto standard…
The gym itself is upto standard probably the best puregym in the area but one of the benches has been broken for over 3 weeks with no attempt to fix it honestly its not possible to bench in this gym only 1 bench for 100+ people
1. More benches need to be added im sure puregym has enough money for this
2. the broken bench needs to be immediately fixed 3 weeks is simply to long

Don’t bother if you have anxiety
Booked for an induction to the gym as I have pretty severe anxiety with these things, turned up 10 minutes before the allotted time and waited outside the pods like the email instructed me saying there would be someone there to greet me earlier than the allotted time, waited for 20 minutes for no one to appear, staff weren’t useful in the slightest and ignored me, just don’t bother if you have any anxiety

Much better
So after my review on the 11th of august, I attended the gym today 18 august…
The air con was working, was actually a pleasant temperature,
The weights between 1kg to 10kg were all racked and organised!!
The bigger weights are still all over the place, but you have to blame member mostly for a lack of due care to the surroundings,
The place was actually far cleaner than last week, although the painted over bogie looked like its staying a permanent feature….
I’m not the type of person to go out of my way to moan about stuff, I’ll also give credit where credit is due…
I did enter the men’s changing rooms for the 1st time in years, they smell awful, and the hair dryer isn’t working, the toilets were clean enough, and sharp bins in the men’s changing rooms which is actually a positive in my opinion, much safer then just thrown in the bin…
All in all a much more positive experience,

I just finished three-sets of deadlifts and went to refill my water-bottle.
When I returned to do a fourth set, another gym-member asked if I had finished with the weights and I said yes, so he took them.
I then proceeded to the preacher station and did some curls.
When I turned my back the manager started putting my weights away and I said - ''excuse me, I have not finished with these weights''.
This statement angered him somewhat and his response was to say - "Well I could be cruel and tell you to put the weights you left on the floor away" - weights i'd already given to somebody else!
I then had to re-clip the ez-bar as he skulked off.
When I left the gym, I approached the manager and told him that the other gym member took ownership of the weights and he might want to check his CCTV before wrongly accusing me of leaving the weights lying around.
He completely ignored me and walked off without apologising or saying anything.
To the manger. Your attitude stinks.
Perhaps consider that the revenue generated by PureGym members helps to pay your salary and your co-worker's salary!!!
Due to this experience, I'm canceling my membership and going to another gym.
Disclaimer. I'm a little inconsistent with putting weights away but on this instance, I was not at fault.
