More then friendly and outgoing the staff are
Especially Charles millard waterlooville manager really did go out of his way to make me feel confident and bent over backwards going above and beyond when I had a technical issue with bringing my step daughter along for my bring a buddy. What a champ will happily recommend

Best thing I ever did joining this gym
I joined this gym in September 22, I was nervous at first as I hadn’t been to a gym in nearly 15 years due to having my children and lack of confidence attending one! I started off doing a couple of classes to build up my confidence then towards the end of last year I instructed one of the PTI to draw up a fitness program for me so I could learn how to use the machines properly. I’m so glad I took this step as I now feel more confident going to the gym and can really see and feel a difference in my body and overall health. All the instructors are brilliant. They are so friendly and encouraging, I can’t imagine not attending this gym now, it’s become part of my routine. I do a combination of classes and gym work and I love it. Thank you PureGym

Very useful
Once I signed up I got all the information so quickly; where to go, how to use the pin, the videos showing what I could do, what equipments I could use. This was extremely helpful and helped me be less anxious to go to PureGym

On my last visit to the Waterlooville…
On my last visit to the Waterlooville gym, only one male toilet was working after nearly two months. Only one shower was working properly - several did not work at all. There was a cold blast from the stairwell because the entrance gates only cover part of the doorway.

Facility care and maintenance
A fairly small gym with an adequate level of attendee's at any one time. This facility is let down by it's limited equipment which is further impacted by extremely lengthy maintenance periods to repair and or replace damaged, worn or stolen equipment. This year the highlights for maintenance have been; leaking air con 3 months to repair with conned off hazard area and toilets to the male changing room taking another 3 months to repair leaving only the disabled facility for use. The average turn around time for equipment repair is 1 month.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.

Top staff, Top kit, maintenance issues.
The best thing about Puregym Waterlooville is the superb staff - friendly, professional and always helpful. The PT standards are excellent and they run the classes to a high standard. I’ve observed this gym to be very welcoming, pretty diverse and inclusive. High quality equipment and most of it works most of the time. The only let-down is the lift access has been out of order since forever and this may impact some people with mobility issues who want to use the gym facilities. I don’t think this is the fault of Waterlooville, I suspect Puregym have a naff corporate maintenance contract. If they can fix that then it would be 5-stars!

There isn't much equipment
There isn't much equipment and it gets too busy during the day and I have been going for around the year and around 3/4th of that year the AC has been broken.

We’re afraid it's true, our gyms simply are very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website, to see how many people are in the gym.

A fantastic gym…💪
A great gym full of a variety of individual's who are friendly and engaging. Staff are always on top of everything and very helpful, they always work hard with individual's or groups to help achieve goals. The classes that are run are fantastic and l would encourage everyone to get these involved within a workout week as it breaks up your fitness goals. The Sweat 30/45's are a great way to see how your fitness is progressing.
