There has been a treadmill broke for a month and also the clock next to it has needed the battery changed for a month as well

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.

Hygiene & equipment availability
It is a very busy place lately, as a result equipment availability to be limited. However my main concern with this particular facilities is the hygiene standards. It is indeed very low.

I really enjoy going to pure gym
I really enjoy going to pure gym. Great equipment and friendly atmosphere However, I didn't give 5 stars due to the restrictions on my membership. I can't afford £21 a month and the times for my membership aren't working for me. It's a shame you don't have an in-between. I really like going to the gym in the mornings. Maybe this is something you can consider 🤔 thank you 😊

Gym is generally too full
Gym is generally too full, went tonight again and even at 8pm most machines are occupied. Hygiene is not at its best.

We’re afraid it's true, our gyms simply are very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website, to see how many people are in the gym.

Absolutely loving puregym
Absolutely loving puregym, great range of equipment and facilities and it is always clean. The only negative is that it's so hot in there!! I find myself taking a handheld fan just to try and get some air - it's a bit annoying that the air con is barely on, if at all!

Temperatures/air con in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers.

I go early in the morning, lots of equipment, clean, but not a 5 as the music is to loud, i have my music up very loud in my ear phones but still hear gym music.

PureGym prides itself on being able to offer state of the art fitness facilities to our members in a safe and welcoming environment. We developed industry-leading cleaning and hygiene protocols to help keep our members and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, however, with the reduced risk and in line with the Government’s ending of legal restrictions, we have decided to remove self-cleaning stations in our gyms, which will also support our sustainability objectives by reducing our paper towel waste. We’re proud to say that many of the protocols implemented during lockdown, such as frequent and regular cleaning, and improvements to our air ventilation systems, will continue to be a core part of our TrainSafe Commitment.

Out of five cleaning roll dispensers only one had towel in and the cleaning solution was only in two of the guns, you need another station at the end of the gym where the studios are

Quality gym - but could do better!
Very well equipped gym. Quality. Plenty of equipment so you never have to wait for anything. Cleanliness is a problem though. Showers smelly today and some dirt (from someone's shoes) on gym floor which was there on my previous visit 2 days ago. That said - the price is fantastic.
