It’s a good gym with all the equipment…
It’s a good gym with all the equipment and facilities needed but it’s just busy/over subscribed especially in peak times. Lots of groups go which means some stuff just will never be available unless you come at 3am

We’re afraid it's true, our gyms simply are very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day. Amazing
Everything is great, the gym being open 24/7 is the best part. I would like to add that adding a hack squat machine would take this already amazing gym to perfection.

Air con rarely on or broken particularly upstairs
Spin equipment needs attention , several classes where parts have come off.

Temperatures/air con in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers.

I need you guys if possible to clamp…
I need you guys if possible to clamp down on people banging the weights after there use especially upstairs where we are using the bikes.Also some patrons on mobile phones during use of equipment.

Unfortunately, we are unable to monitor the usage of phones in our gyms, however if people are sitting on equipment I would strongly advise approaching a member of staff on the floor who will be able to help further. We would advise raising your concerns with the Gym Manager.

Fantastic gym.
Very clean and tidy in all areas including changing room. Plenty of good quality machines to choose from, well laid out and plenty of free space.

Use the dead lift area for dead lifts not the squat rack area.
The gym is an excellent place to start the day. Great atmosphere and a very welcoming environment.
The only tiny bit of annoyances would be that the squat rack area was taking away from use by members using the area for dead lifts. When there’s a designated deadlift area.

Not great...
There was always some sort of construction going on which meant half of the facilities in the gym were unusable e.g., the toilet. Equipment has to be over 15 years old, rusty, cranky and honestly just feels unsafe to use. Only positive I can think of is that it's open 24/7 other than that it's always absolutely packed, full of children which last time I checked I didn't think you could go to the gym until a certain age but hey ho.

Bad idea …
Loved that we were getting new equipment finally as the old stuff was very tired at best, but the new layout is impossible. All the cardio stuff now upstairs, in a low ceiling area with little to no aircon. New treadmills don’t have fans so compounds this. The only part with a high ceiling is where the big glass segment is, and was already a heat trap in summer months, but at least before we had a choice of up or downstairs.
Walking up the stairs last week felt like getting off a plane on holiday, you could literally feel them temp change.
Seriously considering reviewing membership, can’t work that way, hot, stuffy & no air, not good for an asthmatic, in fact not sure good for anyone. Whoever thought it was a great idea, i challenge you to try it yourself!
