Very limited variety of equipment
Very limited variety of equipment, volume of music was so low you could barely make out what was playing, multiple signs telling you grunting was for when you play tennis.
Just a really woke experience from start to finish. Will not be rushing back

Crutch user needs lift. Please.
The staff was great my and my wife. The reason that I will be there, is to recover the muscles of my legs after accident. I still walk with crutches. The lift was out of service.

Hot and v basic
Few key machines still needed (delt lateral raises, lat pulldown, triceps ext, incline chest press), some grip variations as well…
Gets very hot inside wich makes it uncomfortable

In regards to the temperature in the gym we would like to assure you that we are reviewing feedback and will ensure this is addressed in club.
This is regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. Thanks, PureGym.

Package multi-gym access changed on their own
I've just joined their Plus program for less than a month. And I was block not to access the Yate gym I often go which was listed and included in accessible gym of their multi-access package when I enrolled. Now I couldn't access this gym and haven't got the service team feedback so far!

Overall excellent gym and facilities but when busy and groups using equipment it does make a full workout difficult at times

Gym & Equipment all good value for…
Gym & Equipment all good value for money, Unlimited hydration is a misleading con as it’s limited to a measured portion once every 20 minutes you should sell it at that and give an option to have unlimited to cover the extra cost. Changing room is good but I get the feeling the showers are laid out to discourage their use.

Improvements required
Normally, I never leave a negative review as I don't like to be a Karen. However, I believe I should raise the concerns I have with the facility in order for it to be rectified. I've been a member of another gym for 10 years can't fault it apart from its not 24 hours and no longer accommodates my life style. I have been to several other gyms along side my original gym membership to find the one that will suit me. I will cancel my other membership once I'm happy I've found the gym for me.
Out of all the gyms I've tried all of which are your competitors, I have to say your gym comes out on top and I'm keen to make the move to your gym permanent as long as these issues are looked into.
Now I can cope with the fact the air con isn't cold enough and it's hot in your gym. Breaking a sweat in a gym is the aim anyway so I can live with that.
I love the big competition squat rack and weight plates. The only issue I have is the fact I have always trained on my own. Never bothered with a gym partner as gym time is my time. This means I have to watch my own form and correct myself when my lift isn't going to plan. I have always been fine with solo training and always managed to lift correctly and safely. This is only been possible with the use of a large mirror like you already have in certain locations. I carry out big compound lifts on your squat racks and would feel much better with the use of a mirror.
Now the reason why I have given a two star rating is down to the fact I love your gym and facility and it suits my needs perfectly apart from the issues listed above. Now I can just about deal with everything I've mentioned so far. Now what I can't cope with and I can't stress this enough is the lack of cleanliness in the male changing rooms.
I have been a member of your gym since the 7th of June and from day one the hand dryer is out of order. That's not an issue things break, but at least provide an alternative way of drying your hands while the hand dryer is out of use. Not really a fan of trying to lift weights with moist hands.
The dryer is not my major cleanliness concern. The fact that since the 7th of June you have had a blood stain on the wall of the cubical is unacceptable. I know its a blood stain as it was all over the toilet on the 7th when I went to use the facility and has since been cleaned off everywhere but the wall. We are now on the 29th of June. We have had a blood stained wall for 23 days. I am aware the gym is not always manned by staff, but id like to think something as like that would be addressed on the day it happened. This is not only disgusting but a health hazard to others since its directly below the toilet paper dispenser.
I have taken photos of the facility with blood stain and dates the photos were taken circled. Unfortunately I can’t upload with this review but will happily send them to who ever requires them. I hope as a company you take this as positive feedback to improve on, and will look into some of these issues for the benefit of me and other members. At a minimum id expect the blood to be cleaned and a toilet cleanliness rota put in place. I apologise for being a Karen as it’s not normally my nature how ever as a company I believe feedback is important. I will send a copy of this via email also to ensure it gets to who it needs to.
