Good equpiment selection and a huge gym. However, they've allowed far too many members. Went at 8:30pm thinking I've missed the after-work rush, but the place was packed. Long wait to use 95% of the equipment - yet, astonishingly, they're marketing offers such as zero joining fee right now to attract even more members! Any more and it'll be more like a packed-out night club than a gym! Avoid

We’re afraid it's true, our gyms simply are very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day. Joined pure gym after being a member of nuffield. I have to say, it is so much better. The nuffield gym in yeovil equipment is constantly broken. Pure gym is modern, loads of equipment and it feels fresh

Great gym, with some improvements I’d love to see
Great gym, friendly staff and good range of equipment. I usually go during the quieter times so theres never any issue with it being too busy and not being able to use equipment etc which is great. I make use of the upstairs side room so I can dim the lights and not have music on when it’s available.
Some improvements:
Small things really but things I’d love to see improved or made accessible as a neurodivergent person they could sway others decision in becoming a member.
The sinks in the toilets upstairs in the men’s smell like sewerage when using hot tap and not all the dispensers have soap in. Small issue but it always makes me weary of hygiene
Although there’s a whole section downstairs with kettlebells, weight’s etc. I don’t yet feel comfortable hanging out down there as a neurodivergent person, the upstairs feels more comfortable for me. So I’d love to see more weight range and kettlebells up the stairs so I don’t have to keep carrying them back and forth (there’s definitely room for them!).
Although the side rooms are fantastic outside of classes for working out in a different and more comfortable space, I’d love for more availability for neurodivergent people - Dimmed lighting, reduced volume in music at specific times etc. this might encourage less sensory overload and build more confidence with people who wouldn’t usually want to work out due to these issues.

Great gym but I've received a £100 parking fine for parking in the carpark outside the gym in a 24hr gym.

The car park is operated by a third party company in which we do not have any affiliation with. Therefore, we are unfortunately unable to cancel such tickets. Information regarding parking is available on the home page of any PureGym which offers parking. The correct parking procedures must be followed, to avoid a parking ticket.
We would always advise that you appeal the fine and explain the circumstances. Your attendance log for the date in question, will can be provided as proof to show you were in the gym; you can find this in your App.
If your appeal is rejected, we would suggest submitting a case with POPLA. POPLA are an independent appeals process which works with the Ombudsman Service.
They investigate whether this fine was issued correctly in accordance with the terms and condition of the car park; whilst reviewing evidence provided in the appeal.
On the rejection notice, there should be a 10-digit verification code, and you will then be able to submit an appeal with POPLA via their website: http://www.popla.co.uk/poplaappealprocess.
Although we cannot guarantee they will cancel the fine, we do hope for a positive outcome. Thanks, PureGym.
