Really dreadful first experience
Really dreadful first experience. Inconvenient to set up (no Apple Pay facility, for example), entering card details (in the car park, with the clock already running) didn't work the first time due to app error, then had to sign up to something called QParkGo which cost an extra fee.
Avoid if at all possible.
Shrewsbury
Shrewsbury - very poor experience. Visited town. Had to download the app, register my car and card payment for the one and only visit. App poorly responsive to find location. It all took me 40 minutes to pay for the parking. Many people around me struggled as well. One customer completely unable to pay as the car park location was not coming up. Charges also very high. Nowhere to ask for advice. No customer service and no other way to pay. Even if I decided that leave after unable to pay. They would probably fine me. Worse experience I ever had with parking. Absolutely disgraceful. Do not park!!!!
Expensive parking and charge 40p to use…
Expensive parking and charge 40p to use the app. Will walk to town rather than fill their coffers.
Cardiff Greyfriars Road - FILTHY
Cardiff Greyfriars Road. Needed a central space as I was travelling to the Principality Stadium from a prior event. Cost was shocking (£35 for 6 hours) but accepted that as a price owing to supply and demand. Also guessed it might be busy owing to said event so had to use the top floor. What I wan't prepared for was the journey down to the ground. Stepped over a rough sleeper immediately inside the stairwell and then had to negotiate the debris of discarded food cartons, many still containing something, and various other objects which I did not wish to investigate further for fear of what I may find. I can understand paying a premium rate for the car park but at least give us a facility that can be safely used, not a potential health hazard.
If I could give 0 starts I would!

It genuinely was the most awful process I have ever had the misfortune of encountering, just to pay for an hour of parking!
I had to download an app, make an account, register my account, add a bank card… physical bank card as the app doesn’t accept Apple Pay, luckily my friend knew his card details or we would been screwed, had to authenticate the card, then had to find a qr code in the car park in order to to pay for parking, and it cost a fiver for an hour !
The worst car park I have ever used cannot fathom the planning behind such a terrible service that should be extremely straight forward
No words!!!
Awful experience. Newly taken over car park, cash payment machines also out of use. Scanned Q-Park App, incredibly confusing, long winded, have to watch video, wouldn't accept correct registration etc etc etc. Gave up eventually went somewhere else to park. Wrote to them to avoid getting ticket, they said I had just a few hours to pay for my session on line and then I wouldn't get a ticket. App still not working, very lengthy instructions sent which did not reflect what you see in the App. Eventually got it working BUT have had to pay £2.90 for the privilege of wasting my time and stress incurred wandering around that carpark for 15-20 minutes trying to get help with the App, which around a dozen of us were trying to figure out at the same time. Disgraceful way to run a business. I will never use these again, there are many more options around that goodness, have used so many of these parking Apps - all the others are very straight forward. All in all around 3 hours of my life wasted sorting out this nonsense. Avoid!
Ticket machines were out of order on…
Ticket machines were out of order on arrival in Colchester Osborne Street; I was forced to download the app which is the most convoluted and complicated parking app I‘ve ever come across; it took me (and many other customers who were in the same situation) nearly 40 minutes to get the parking payment sorted: this means my car was in the car park for all this time which the number recognition cameras presumably count it as unpaid. Should I get fined I will contest and get trading standards involved. And the staircases stank of urine, totally disgusting. Never again!
We reserved a VIP spot before heading…
We reserved a VIP spot before heading to Glasgow. Having never been there we chose it based on location, which was directly opposite our hotel (Frazer Suites). We pulled in and parked without any problems, walked across the street and checked into our hotel.
When we went out for dinner we were talking to the hotel front desk attendant, and he said we had better move our car or have it locked in for our early flight the next morning. We went over and pulled our car our and ended up parking on the street for the night. I asked for a refund and was emailed it would be looked into.
No refund allowed, they said it was clearly stated on the website. Never again will I use a Qpark car park.
I suggest you don't either.
Shockingly bad UX for something so simple
Their app lets you sign in with Apple, creates an account for you … which you then cannot sign into on their website - as it doesn’t have that option to login with Apple. Website insists you already have an account - which you can’t sign into - and password reset never arrives. Oh and the app for some reason doesn’t list the same car park for pre-booking. Why is it so hard to give you my money!
Q Park not fit for purpose
I pre booked a space in Queen Anne Mews W1G9HF 24hr pass as I had an appointment in Harley St. My sat nav took me to the location but the car park was not to be seen. I drove around for 45 minutes and checked out the overhead webcam but apart from a picture there were no helpful or any directions. I had to abandon my search to get to my appointment which was scheduled 6am . I tried contacting Q Park but their contact options did not work as it was too early . I have complained only to be fobbed off. This company is the worst example of bad practice I have ever encountered and I would urge anyone wishing to use them to be very careful of what you are buying into?
I will never use them again and will advise anyone who asks me not to either.
Evil Predatory "Business"
They put my 63 year old mother into tears by forcing a confusing app on her that she couldn't use or download, and you can't just sort it out easily when you get home because by then all they have is an AI replacement for customer service. Have followed it's AI's advice to pay as if she is there now, and it doesn't even say that will stop any charges.
Absolutely dismal first parking…
Absolutely dismal first parking experience. I spent ages trying to download the app, which crashed several times. Eventually I managed, but then couldn't start an active parking session. Contacted customer services and they gave me a list of instructions which didn't work. I'm currently back home still trying to set up a parking session which lasted just 20 minutes to avoid their prohibitive £100 fine. Can't help feeling I've been scammed.
This company is an absolute joke

Shit company
app doesn’t work

avoid at all costs
Broken automatic payment system
Their automatic payment system has been broken for 3 months now. I have to use a credit card to pay every time after payment 'failed'. No, they failed. They have admitted they're having problems but have given no ETA.. which might be an acceptable response after a couple of days but 3 *months*?
Unfair fines
Fortis Green Road car park in N10 is run by Britannia Parking, owned by Q Park. I have 2 Parking Charge Notices because according to Britannia I failed to pay. However the Q Park app to which I was directed by signage failed to collect payment and I am being fined for this, even though I have confirmation I set up the app correctly. Britannia has rejected my appeal and asked debt collectors to pursue me. This is grossly unfair.
pre booked and charged for early entry
We stayed at Novotel Liverpool who have a deal with q park but apparently only if you pre-book. We weren't told that until we had parked so stayed for 72 hours without a discount. On return after a day out we pre-booked but could only book in half hour slots - we arrived around 4.45 but could only book from 5pm which we did. We left 2 hours early but were charged an extra 2.90 for the 15 minutes early that we arrived despite being unable to book the time we wanted because of their system. I see this has happened to other people too. Not getting anywhere with customer services but won't use them again and certainly wouldn't bother pre booking.
Pre paid for a car park that was unaccessible.
Pre paid for a family celebration lunch at Tower Bridge not realising London marathon needed to close the road along side and around the car park. We had to park elsewhere and were over an hour late for lunch. Q parking must have know when we paid 3 weeks in advance that their car park would be inaccessible. However, having made a complaint with a promise from them to to look into it here we are in July with no reply from them.
Dont prebook a space withe QPark
I rebooked for 6.00pm and arrived at 5.45 after a five hour journey so pretty close to the booking time considering you cant really block the road outside to wait for exactly 6.00pm I left the car park 1 hour and 15 minutes earlier than I had paid for. its hard to predict how long you need when prebooking. I didnt expect a refund for my unused time, however I also didnt expect an email saying they would charge me an extra £3.80 because I parked 15 minutes early! Dont prebook it makes the car park more money than if you were to just pay for how long you stay.
Shockingly expensive!
Nice modern car park and very convenient for Liverpool One shops and Albert Dock, however shockingly expensive!! We went today (Saturday 11th June) was parked for exactly 6hrs 3 minutes and was charged £22!!
Absolute rip off and will never park there again
