Good features. Very good summary of overall financial state. I appreciate that quicken back to improving software. Sync with external data providers works for some, not for others. I now have almos... See more

Very easy to use.
Great product
Great product, in general, but there really needs to be more functionality regrading cryptocurrencies and pricing.
Ridiculously complicated for no reason
Each year they make Quicken more complex and baffling to use, adding bells and whistles that make no sense. And for these un-improvements, they now charge an annual subscription price.
Retired-exopensive
Retired. Been With Quicken for over 20 years. Way too expensive. Tried to get a senior discount. It was blocked
What Happened?
Although a useful tool for many years, downloading FIdelity accounts is no longer accurate or reliable. The magniture of errors makes the tool unusable for routine tracking tasks. It is odd that the problem is only with Fidelity, not with other brokerage or bank accounts.
I have used Quicken for 30 plus years
I have used Quicken for 30 plus years. It makes preparing your Income taxes so much easier. Everything is categorized and ready to hand over to be processed.
Quicken and OS X
Quicken continues to be a terrific product on Mac OS X. They seem to have recommitted themselves to Mac development in the last few years, with numerous new features and continual small and larger improvements to the whole program.
To put a finer point on it, in the past I’d enjoyed Quickbooks but only on windows boxes, which is not my preferred platform, and their Mac version was always really lacking compared to the win counterpart.
Grateful that Quicken has soldiered on all these years on an OS I truly love.
LIFETIME license
I had a LIFETIME license to Quicken which you forced me to upgrade to a subscription model by making it not work. I don't need or use ant of the enhancements you are working on.

I have been a Quicken user for many years. I feel that Quicken meets my needs for tracking my financial tracking.
Overpriced for what it is
Overpriced for what it is. Been using quicken for years but will be looking for an alternative
SUGGESTION
SUGGESTION: When prompted with "Do you want to save the last transaction" I frequently do not know to which the prompt is referring. Please change the prompt to identify the transaction.
Too expensive for my needs; functionality I don't use.
For my needs, Quicken is overpriced. It is generally a good product, but there is a lot of functionality and many features that I just don't need. I understand that this may be your business model, but it doesn't seem right to force customers to pay for things they don't need. I believe a simpler and less expensive version would be welcomed by many users.
"oddity" in functions eroded confidence
Recent "oddity" in functions has eroded confidence in the quality of the software and accuracy of it functionality. As an example, separated account shows up in budget report, but not in itemized category report (both OOTB reports). Also had checking account balance change during reconciliation (which could not explain) These are 2 example which make me question accuracy of functionality. Also one account has a notice there are downloaded transactions, but there are none. Reading comments on line, there have been others experienced this, and no clean fix.
Good product.
This the only program I have used since MYM died. It is the best for managing my check register and prepping my tax entries.
I regret that I have to pay for it every year. It used to last several years before forced upgrade. I am not impressed by the "upgrades".
I have called the company 3 times with problems. The first 2 times I got a quick and easy resolution. The third was a completely useless experience. I managed to figure it out later but know that "support" is a misnomer.
After years of use, Quicken started working at a snails pace
I have used Quicken on a regular basis since the 1990s. My files are large as I have recorded every credit card transaction and investment transaction. About a year ago, the program instantly became very slow. It is very annoying to sit and wait after hitting the enter key for something to happen.
