This is an intense program, I am learning so much, and I am just a bit over halfway! It is exactly what I was looking for in a Bootcamp. Coach Bill has been a wonderful coach facilitating the learning process. There is a great cohort of students, and we are assisting each other. Again I am pleased about what I am learning.
It’s a great course lots of materials to learn. The labs are great for those who don’t have access to windows computer or never work with Linux machines. Also the coach are hands on and very helpful don’t be afraid to ask for help. Overall learned a lot from this bootcamp.
I am learning so much in this bootcamp. Coach William Clark is great with explaining the material. The recordings of the class are very helpful with reviews. The staff is very helpful when you fall behind and need to get into a new cohart. I'm still about half way through but I like it so far.
Amazing cant wait for more!!! Coach Bill is the best!
It was a helpful experience all around. The lecture quality left a little to be desired. The labs and instructors were great. I've learned alot in a short period of time.
I've used this training platform for the past 3 years and love how I can get on-demand content at any time or can get into VILT courses relatively quick. I appreciate the QS team as they are responsive to my needs when asking for a course on short notice.
Quickstart has many tools and labs for the students to succeed. The course is great, easy to follow, teaching staff there to help with questions, show code, have Data Science discussions, and always there to help complete projects. These boot camps are great for beginners, intermediates and a refresher course. The staff is great to work with, always there to help to answer questions and for you to succeed in your career.
The overall Experience was good. The coursework was amazing and it was very easy to understand. The teaching staff was helpful to and gave good ideas to complete the project.
Quickstart operated a Cybersecurity Bootcamp that I took through my local university. The staff were very helpful getting me started in the program and explained all my options. They were supportive during my 6 months in the program. I especially liked the labs and projects. They were fun and informative. I am recommending this program to my friends.
The courses that I took were very helpful and the instructor guided me well throughout my courses that I was working on.
I signed up for Quickstart's Full Stack Web Development program, and was lied to almost immediately; The program brochure they had sent me listed three (3) weekly live tutoring sessions when in reality there were only ever two (2) per week. When I had asked about this while requesting a refund, they told me not to mention this fact as it would "hurt my chances at getting a refund." I travel for my job throughout the week and was relying on the weekly Saturday sessions to help catch up and discuss if I fell behind because of work.
Moving into the actual content of the program, it is hilariously vague and outdated. So much so they had to "re-vamp" their content for 2021. They had attempted to administer this course without giving any serious attention to JavaScript, one of the key components in understanding Web Development. Despite being listed as a course module, instead we were given a paltry slideshow and a PDF to a JavaScript textbook which we were given SEVEN (7) weeks late (more on that later). The React/Redux modules have almost zero meaningful information to actually understand them, and the MySQL/PHP modules and videos date back to 2011/2012. Not exactly the cutting edge of content as they promised. The second half of the course falls flat completely.
By far the worst part of this company is their utter lack of support and communication. They have no problems ignoring you for weeks on end. I was missing two weeks worth of courses from the website (necessary to the project that was upcoming), and it took two weeks for them to appear, literally on the due date for the project that required them. When I asked how I could possibly catch up now that I was three weeks behind on content through no fault of my own, they shrugged their shoulders and said sorry.
This severe lack of communication is endemic and present in every person I've spoken to at Quickstart. Every one of them will leave you in the dark and then completely forget who you are when you try to get in touch again; I had asked staff member Moses about going through a refund process in December and I got a call from him randomly in late January asking how I was doing with the coursework, with him seemingly confused that I was asking for a refund. He had completely forgotten I had even asked.
If you pay in full for the course, you are promised a new HP laptop by Quickstart. This was promised by my coordinator Alex. This is not written ANYWHERE and I had to follow up for weeks in order to actually get one.
Last and certainly not least was our instructor who would come into sessions unprepared, sometimes spending the entire 2 hour lecture on debugging and configuring rather than course content (occurred multiple times). He didn't administer our JavaScript textbook until seven (7) weeks after it was supposed to be distributed. He was unorganized and impatient towards students with technical issues or general misunderstandings.
I was in the same cohort as Andrew Dunnam and can verify his experiences. Also, I have a plethora of emails detailing how uncommunicative and uncaring people at multiple levels of this company are and am more than willing to share them with whoever asks.
**UPDATE**
After writing this review, I was offered a 50% refund rate which I have accepted despite wasting a half-year in this program. I still cannot recommend it in good faith because it took two months of "negotiating" to reach this point, but if fight hard enough they won't leave you completely out to dry. It also seems as if they have caught on to their unpopularity, because now people are scrambling to leave top level reviews. Wouldn't be at all surprised if they were incentivized with pre-paid gift cards.

I took a Full Stack Computer Programming Bootcamp and the staff was incredibly rude to us. Moses Effendi likes to talk down to students and tell them "you like getting your hands held in coding" total bs. They don't offer any outside help in coding which is a BIG DEAL to people just starting to code. Also the material is extremely outdated and they did not even teach us all the courses offered from the start of the program. I could criticize for hours here. However, my entire class is considering suing the program because it in essence is a total scam. Good luck getting a job with their help.... Please save your money and avoid Quickstart. There are good bootcamps out there but this is not one of them. I hope I was able to help someone out. Thanks and God Bless. P.S. please don't act like you care now. The entire staff was rude and extremely unsupportive throughout the entire program but now you act like you care ... Save the lies for other people but I won't accept another lie from you or anyone else in the program.

I took the cyber security boot camp specifically for the job guarantee. I did more than everything they asked for. However, their career counselors are useless either not finding any jobs or sending jobs clear across the country. When I requested a refund the brand new career counseling manager denied it without cause!
Beware of the 5 star reviews! Before you even get a chance to use their career counseling, they try to bribe you with Amazon gift cards for a good 5 star review!

I am in a full-stack certificate program. I have had issues accessing the learning platform, getting in touch with my advisor, and the instructor. With so many coding camps on the market, I highly recommend going to any other camp than this one. How the curriculum is structured did not make sense, learning Jquery and APIs before learning how to write functions, and even changing the curriculum midcourse. I've been frustrated with the program from the start and tried switching to another instructor but they don't have any other instructors than the 1 person who cant teach a topic in a step-by-step process and talks down to students. If I could get a refund I would but since I paid upfront I can't get my money back and am stuck trying to make the best of a bad poorly managed program. I'm writing this because I can't access the learning platform, all of my courses are gone and I can't do my homework. This is the 3rd issue with the platform in my 6 month camp.

QuickStart, has been by my side thru my most difficult time with this pandemic. Academic Advisors to all of the professors that teach Cyber Security very thorough on teach the classes and when it comes to the hands on training its even better. Thank you QuickStart for all of you dedicated work.
The Bootcamp expectation is to have students equipped with knowledge and skills essential for professional world. Instructors here not only provide lessons and skills, but also they are compassionate and very carrying for the student success. Staff are available and well experience in order to solve any issue. Enrolled in the Bootcamp was the best thing I ever done in my education life. The resources available made me feel connected and important. At the end, I was well equipped with tools and knowledge that will make me a champion in the professional world.
My data science class was so amazing. Even though I didn't get to do everything because of time spent on physical therapy for my hand, I learned so much from the lectures that Peter presented.
He is so knowledgeable and an amazing teacher, with wealth of technical skills and knowledge.
We were so lucky to have him as a teacher.
Thank you so much, and thanks for 6 months of extended access after the class is over so that I can do the videos,

This experience was horrible to say the least. The class meetings consumed of wstching slideshow presentations. When i decided to withdraw from program. I was emailed that monthly installments with be frozen and i would not be charged going further. Yet i have been charged 3 times after that. 2 times being within the same weekend. When i called up to see why. They did not have a valid answer and got transferred aroung multiple people. Then was informed finance department will get back to me within 15-20 mins. They did not call me back, 4 hours later i reached out and finally got someone on financing. By that time i had cancelled my credit card and got a new one. Horrible customwr service. Dont go with this company. I would not recommend this to my worst enemies. The company that handles the online schooling is called Quickstart. If any online courses is associated with them do not use it.

I agree with Nathan as I was also in the same Data Science cohort with him. I enrolled through Wagner College and since the Bootcamp was completely online, we were all grouped together. Fresh out of college with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and not knowing what career I wanted to pursue with my new degree; after weighing my options, I decided to enroll in this Bootcamp through my school to obtain the skills necessary for a chance in data science. The biggest selling point for me was their “job guarantee in the first six months after completion of the program or your money back” promise. This turned out to be completely bogus as they tried to lie over and over again every time we requested for career services.
It’s also worth noting that QuickStart likes to hide behind the reputation of their school partners by making their ads look like the Bootcamp are offered by the school themselves. In fact, besides putting their names on the ads, the schools were never involved with any part of the training until the administrators were notified by us students about Quickstart’s shady business. In fact, I don’t believe the school even knows the garbage contents that Quickstart used to train their student. This is a HUGE flaw in the academic system in my opinion. With all the decorated reputation from established schools and a big job guaranteed promise, I enrolled in the program thinking it would help get my foot in the door, only to realize that I have wasted 6 months of my times and not gain any skills valuable for data science. Heck, not even for data analyst jobs. Six months in this so called training yet, I am still trying to teach myself basic SQL, analytics, and coding skills for the field! I feel that I’ve been totally scammed. Though the tuition was fully refunded after we, students, fought many hard a** battles with Quickstart, I still had spent $600 on a computer for the class and another $300 for Microsoft certifications which, were not mentioned anywhere in the contract for when we signed up.
My advice for anyone thinking about enrolling in any programs provided by Quickstart, is try to learn the skills on your own through books, YouTube videos, or learning websites such as Udacity or Udemy, create a portfolio showcasing projects created from these skills learned (preferably on GitHub), and save yourself the time and money of dealing with QuickStart in your future IT learning. Also, I don’t doubt for one bit that all their 5-stars reviews on here were written by their trolls.
P.S. I was not able to comment a review on their facebook page so it is assumed that they aren't allowing people like us with bad experiences continue to post them about their company!
This comapany is really bad. Very slow system. How can an IT company offer online courses yet they cannot fix their own. Such a rubbish company. Do not purchase anything. You will just waste your money.
