I registered for a yearly subscription to access their library of courses after attending a webinar. Their overall process was not very clear in terms of accessing the account but after several attempts of trying to get support, my account was activated. After couple of week, my account was charged again for the same amount. Which is their annual fees. I was able to contact the account manager and was able to take care of it. However, at that time I was still trying to schedule my training hours so I can go through their content. Once I started accessing the content, I found their instructor delivering very mediocre and in some topics, incorrect concepts and provide misleading information. For CISSP certification, you want to make sure you get the information from someone experienced or knowledgeable. I found Quickstart to be either an organization with no quality checks or very lousy training platform. They run with different names, Infosecacademy and Quickstart. I advice anyone looking for training to stay away from these people. I really hope they improve but any feedback I have provided them have fallen into deaf ears.
Update: After contacting the founder on LinkedIn and reaching out several times (3) to the email addresses on QuickStart, I was able to get a message back from their Product Line Lead and he listened to my queries and was able to address most of it. While it will probably take them many iterations to get the training content correct and easy to understand. I will probably check them out again in the near future.
I like their yearly subscription model, it's one of the best available in market. I would love to recommend Quickstart to anyone who is interested IT Training.
