1. Fee Transparency:
In July 2025, I paid €693 in full for a policy. Upon reviewing the insurer's actual documents, I discovered the premium was €593, meaning a €100 broker fee was applied
2. Premium Comparisons:
When I changed cars in January 2026, I sought a new quote. QuoteDevil’s price was approximately €500 higher than the quote I received by going directly to the same insurer.
3. Refund Discrepancy:
I cancelled my policy with 6 months remaining. Despite having paid nearly €700, and accounting for the standard €100 in cancellation penalties (€50 for the insurer and €50 for the broker), the refund offered was only €186. This is lower than the €250 pro-rata balance (less penalties) I expected. Furthermore, as of now, this refund has still not been processed.
4. Customer Service:
The resolution process has been frustrating. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes, the customer service representative was unable to provide a satisfactory explanation for the figures or offer a resolution.
This has been a €64 lesson in the importance of checking broker fees versus direct insurer prices. Between the high admin charges and the difficult customer service, I cannot recommend this service. I would advise others to go direct to the insurer (just call them, they are very helpful) to save on fees and ensure a smoother administrative process.

caught in the same loop again... new insurance company is asking me a named driver later for the 2 years i have with my past insurer. Quote devil are saying they only give letter to the second named driver on the insurance.

Craig was super helpful, extremely informative and very patient when it came to looking at various policies whilst shopping around for a new car.
He was able to find me a great deal on a policy in the end that suited my needs after it being more difficult for me looking myself through different insurance brokers after moving home from Canada.

I cancelled my house insurance on the 12th of this month and still have not been refunded (480 euro) it's now the 29 .They told me it would take 5 to 10 working days and still nothing I've requested numerous call backs and sent so many emails but nothing .Does anybody know what to do in this situation or do I need to see a solicitor and go the legal route

I am still awaiting my insurance disc to be sent out to me after payment was sent nearly three weeks ago. Conversations RE my insurance have been ongoing for 2.5 months and it is still not finalised. I have paid so I can't go anywhere else and I need my disc to be sent. They don't send them to your house, you have to print them out to reduce costs and I am so fed up. Their phone line is off the hook and you can't get through. DO NOT USE THEM.

I paid the renewal 2 months ago and still not have the insurance certificade nor the policy. RUN AWAY FROM THEM!
EDIT: They comment here asking us to send email, I think they should answer those many emails already sent before asking for another one.. lol this must be a joke...
EDIT 2: After 50 minutes waiting on tje phone, Gokce have my issue partially sorted, and sent me the provisional certificate. But the addres was wrong again. I replyed informing the error and they sent a correct provisional certificate. Now I'm just waiting for the physical certificate.

I sold my car on 19/01/2026 and have been trying to contact Quote Devil ever since to cancel my policy. I’ve called every single day and spent over an hour on hold each time, but no one ever answers the phone.
I also emailed them on 20/01/2026 explaining that I had sold my car and couldn’t get through by phone, and requested that my policy be cancelled. I still haven’t received any reply.
This level of customer service is completely unacceptable. All I want is to cancel my policy, but it seems impossible to reach anyone. Very disappointing experience.
