Hard to cancel. They don't tell you it's about to renew so you can only find out when it's too late. I now have a subscription for a further year that I don't want and shan't use.

Alerts a wide variety of things which i find awesome but wish you could see more of the conversation so you can get better context.

I would give Qustodio zero stars if I could. Customer service is non-existent. The chatbots are useless. I was offered an appointment to speak to a human, but the first slots available were 5 days away. Qustodio was very quick to take my money, though. There is no wait time for that to happen.

Only minor issues with the app, but BEWARE billing practices. Emails will prompt renewals 1 month before current subscription ends and then begin billing as of the date of renewal, not at the end of the subscription. Essentially double billing on last month of subscription/first month of renewal, and shortening renewal period by one month.

Excellent to have control as a parent (no need for Government intervention and meddling).

I would have given them 0 stars, but that's not an option available when leaving reviews. My experience is this: i installed their software on my kid's PC. It messed up the "timeline". It thinks that activity that happened yesterday actually happened today. I gave my kid 3 hours computer time. He used 2 hours the day before yesterday between 5 and 7PM. Yesterday, he used another hour and was blocked, because "2 hours from yesterday plus one hour from today make 3". The timeline shows yesterday's usage happening today. Then the second thing is that as long as Qustodio is running, he is unable to use Opera browser. It closes it down like 2-3 seconds after starting. The Opera browser was not in a block list. I even disabled the entire app monitoring thing in the Qustodio panel. Removed Qustodio, Opera works again. Reinstall from scratch Qustodio, it closes down Opera again.
Then I tried communicating with the people that run Qustodio. I have only received canned responses, despite my repeated attempts at getting through to somebody that actually has a pulse.
I even went as far as hunting for their phone number - found it on their apple app page. Called the number, surprise - they have an audio message playing, happily instructing you to contact them through the same ticketing system where nobody is answering.
I gave up in the end and disputed the charges. I do not advise anyone to lose their time with this. Just go someplace else, I am sure there are better alternatives than Qustodio, companies which actually have a working product and who actually value their customers enough to answer tickets.

Customer service is non existent. Subscribed to premium service but contacted qustodio instantly to cancel and refund. This is getting to a week without any response. They claim to respond within two working days but it’s just a fluke. I have sent several email but all I get is automated reply

Great parental controls - my teenagers go onto the kids app to check their usage time to self regulate as well so it’s a really helping them keep themselves accountable!

I bought a year's subscription to QOStudio as the Apple Sharing app had a few bugs
All I needed was to put a limit on the daily usage of my son's (13yo) phone, and put a night time curfew
I installed QOStudio and was surprised to find the process quick and easy
However, I soon found out that the lack of onboarding meant by default every single feature, the most intrusive surveillance I've ever seen, was installed
Location, reading text messages, reading Google searches, etc etc
I found this out when my son was searching for some sensitive information, nothing bad, just very personal to him, and the app sent it straight to my email
I felt immediately I had betrayed my son's trust, I feklt disgusted, embarrassed that I had accidentally spied on him
It was like I had set up a secret surveillance camera in his room without knowing
I immediately tried to find a way to disable this function and found that it wasn't possible
I reached out to support, told them my concerns, and 4 days later, I haven't received a single response
It's simple. They don't about their customers
They don't care about your kid's welfare
If they can't be bothered to respond to paying customers, imagine what they might be doing with the sensitive, personal data of your children - photos, texts, location etc etc
I urge you NOT to buy this app. If you have this app, uninstall it immediately
Your kids only have only childhood
Do not hand their personal private lives over to this company
I feel sickened I did this to my son
We're back with Apple Sharing, despite its bugs

I have downloaded the trial software hoping to test and purchase. According to the reviews the child cannot switch off the location. This is not the case. The child's device location was switched off yesterday and the parent is unable to use the location feature as it is stuck at the last place visited. Otherwise I think it could be a good product. I will spend more time learning about the software.

Lots of false alerts
Doesn’t monitor much on Apple devices other than general app use.
Is more effective in Apple devices than some competitors.
Blocks some graphic content.

The platform controls can be bypassed by my 13 year old daughter by creating new windows accounts.

I tried to cancel my subscription but there is no way to contact you. That is unacceptable and I have requested a full refund of the renewal that you took

Don’t allow me to block certain websites, no full transparency and control. It seems that Custodio has the control of what my kids can watch and not myself. No good for IOS

Reply from Qustodio
Not working. My child can easily bypass it and do whatever they want. Do not waste your money on that app

Reply from Qustodio
It is very easy to control all device for a specific user from one platform.

Reply from Qustodio
Painful to set up. Doesn't do the features it claims. Wasted money paying for premium.

Reply from Qustodio
The location hasn’t worked for ages. First Instagram got blocked for no reason, then TikTok, and now almost everything is blocked for my kid. I’ve emailed support before and got no reply. Paying for Premium and it’s basically useless right now.
