Great service no complaints

Purchased 4 tyres & balancing online via RAC 6 days ago for fitting 3 days ago. The tyres were specifically chosen for towing. Having driven 25 mile round trip x2 the tyres have yet to be delivered to the nominated garage. Spoke to RAC tyres only to be told that they needed to contact the courier for proof of delivery, after a few more telephone calls I was told that their supplier won't be able to deliver for another 6 days! Really not impressed. Poor communication and rubbish service on the part of the RAC

I ordered a pair of tyres in good faith only to be told by the guy fitting them that they were actually 3 years old. When I raised this with RAC they claimed that tyres up to 5 years old are considered “new”. Well, not by me. As I only do a very low annual mileage it’s likely the tyres will deteriorate long before the tread is worn. If I’d known the tyres were 3 years old there is no way I’d have bought them. I thought I was dealing with a reputable, trustworthy company - unfortunately not.

Very easy to order with a good choice on the site. Prices to suit all budgets. Personally, I chose mid-range tyres. They were Michelin made with another name. Good write-ups from others. Let's see how they do.

Very impressed that it only cost £8 for someone to come out and take off the old tyre and fit a new one. I was able to book on line very quickly and easily which was a great help during a busy working week.

I tried 3 different bank cards, all I get from their website is:

''Your address must match the address held by the bank of your chosen payment option.''

All 3 cards from all 3 banks match the address, I just bought from another retailer instead.

RAC now trying to get my comment removed by asking Trustpilot to ask me to provide a reference number.

How do I get a reference number when your website refuses to complete a transaction upon payment.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with F1 Auto Centres. Despite having a confirmed booking, they claimed they never received the confirmation, which led to a wasted day and significant inconvenience as I was unable to drive my car. To make matters worse, they were unable to offer me another appointment for five days. Additionally, the refund process took an unexpectedly long time, and I received little assistance from RAC, who only processed the refund after a further five days. This whole experience has been frustrating and far from the level of service I expected. I hope F1 Auto Centres and RAC can improve their communication and customer support going forward

Quick and easy, ordered tyres online, I chose a fitting time and turned up. Tyres fitted immediately, great service from the tyre fitters. Good price on tyres 😄

Horrible service which damages the image of the RAC as a competent and professional organisation. I expected much better service than this from them. I paid over £600 for two new tyres plus fitting. The fitter did not turn up or answer any calls. RAC Tyres apparently couldn't contact the fitter either, yet seemed to think that sending him an email would do the trick. Utterly ridiculous and a waste of time. I have a special needs son who cannot get to school independently and I rely on having my vehicle. This means I have to rely on businesses that I pay to do the job that is expected of them. RAC Tyres failed in that expectation and have refused to compensate me for the loss that they have caused. I am considerably out of pocket. Needless to say I dont recommend them. Avoid.

Fitters at F1 Kings Lynn were excellent - Would have given a 5 start review if RAC could have improved their communication

After looking around I got the best price from RAC tyres. I never knew they even sold tyres. Mobile fitting for £24 was also really good and saved me a lot of hassle.
