Ramsay World Travel Reviews 

This is the third time we have used you guys and the service and information has always been fantastic.

Unfortunately, our experience with Ramsay World Travel was extremely disappointing.

We booked a multi-centre holiday through them, but the first hotel was completely unsuitable. The air conditioning was ineffective during temperatures of around 38°C and the window in our room would not close properly, allowing hot air inside. My partner was 19 weeks pregnant and we both became unwell due to the conditions.

We reported the issue to the hotel and, when it could not be resolved, contacted Ramsay’s out of hours emergency assistance. We followed the advice we were given to check out and book alternative accommodation at our own expense.

We ultimately lost confidence in the remainder of the holiday and paid an additional €164 to return home early.

The member of staff who helped us on the phone was polite and did his best, so I have no criticism of him personally. However, the way our complaint was handled afterwards was very disappointing. The response did not address the advice given by the emergency assistance service or explain what enquiries had been made with the hotels regarding refunds. Instead, we were simply told that our decision to return home was unilateral and offered a £100 voucher.

The true test of a travel company is how it supports its customers when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend Ramsay World Travel.

Great service from Calum Mackenna. Had a number of emails back and forth and nothing was too much trouble for him. Will definitely be booking with Ramsay Travel in the future.

Cheaper than the online price, dealt with by the call handler Melanie politely, professionally,and quickly.A pleasure to have Ramsays arrange my holiday.

Staff at the Stirling branch are helpful polite and always lookout for the best possible holiday deal for the public. We never go anywhere else.

Amazing customer service.
Have used multiple times for everything from short breaks to jungle adventures. Any time there has been an issue of any sort with travel, accommodation or tour company they have been super quick and helpful and found fast effective solutions, they have been able to offer discounts which would be unavailable booking direct with the tour companies and are great at organising all aspects ( tour, flights , extra accommodation outwith tours etc) so that entire trip runs seamlessly which give me great peace of mind as a solo traveller going off the beaten track.

Have booked 2 holidays recently with Ramsay Travel in Stirling. I had an issue with one of the flights being moved by the airline. The staff at the Stirling branch were able to resolve the issue same day without hesitation.

Very helpful & knowledgeable. Nick has booked my last few holidays and nothing is too much trouble for him. Very impressed. Would highly recommend.
